I don't think this will be helpful for Nepalese community. This addresses issues about Indians. According to this petition if this gets passed we will be dragged to same wait time as other countries like India and China who send alot more people than our country. so, to best of my knowledge it will not help our community. 


 

Well, you might be one of those people who filed on EB2 and don't care what happens other categories. I'm sure there are lots of other Nepalese who filed under Eb3 and have to wait for longer period of time. Moreover, recapturing all the unused EB visas means some help to our community as well. In fact, if they recapture all the unused visas, then all the EB categories will be current or almost current.

While there are some good points, but this in a long run will not be beneficial to Nepalese community. India and China will take great advantages given their link and numbers. I am not signing it. % Quota system appears far more rational, given that each country will have chance of getting GC. If you guys are worried about EB-catagories, then I would suggest GET master degree while you are working instead of being lazy! that process will give you GC withing three years!! 1 year Master degree 2 years maximum for GC. No point in signing such petition just because it does little favor to you and maximum favor to lobbyst from our neighboring country! and less favor to entire minority community like Nepali community!!

I would rather vote for NO DV like today we have but DV within  for US graduates!!

Mr. Delicate: Thanks for sharing this but the thing I didn't like about this petition is increasing per country limit.  

Think seriously, we will go more behind if this petition passed. Only Crap Indians and Chinese will get benefit from this. And to say the truth this petition is not for us.

Just utilizing unused visa is a good point. If some petition is there to utilize unused visa and green card for US graduates I will definitely support. Like this.

Mr. Delicate! either way  trust me its alot better for Nepalese with current regulations than it will be if they pass that petition.  It will be just like H1B almost all of the quotas will be used up by Indian cousultants and We will again have lottery system. And waiting time  for EB3 will still be 5-6 years wich is close to what Nepalese has to wait.

So, I'm guessing either you haven't thought about this petition ... or you are Indian citizen and trying to get some Npalese to sign the petition.
