Guys -- I am going to KTM on Etihad via Delhi. I have heard tons of issues regarding the transit in Delhi and how to best manage the luggage. Any tips on how to best manage this and avoid the hassles?
Thank you in advance.

Etihad flies direct ko KTM from somewhere in Middle East, so why have u chosen to fly via Delhi?
If you dont have to take ur luggage out in Delhi than it is really good... I have travelled via delhi 4 times... always pleased with the service.... Try doing through check in .... meaning collecting ur luggage in KTM not in Delhi and rechecking again....
Do not buy your liquors in other duty free, you cannot take it through as everyone travelling via India (even international transfer) have to go through security check.... International rule applies... meaning u cannot take more than 100 ml liquid through.... Delhi duty free is good if you are buying any liquors and are comparatively cheaper than those in Middle East n London Heathrow

look ..........there is no problem in delhi , i have been there before and no problems at all, infact delhi airport is even better then jfk. you will know what i meant when you touchdown. , but while comming back do not do a mistake of having indian currency with you as basterds there (custom officer) will single you out and take it. (well happened to me once ,, i told him that i want to see my counciller from embassy basterd gave it back)
