Don't know what to reply to this thread. When I saw this video, I couldn't imagine myself being in that line. Now if you think being yourself in that line instead of sitting somewhere in front of computer and typing comment, you will feel pain in that face. I think government is solely responsible for this but we can poke them to do something for this. Instead of individual effort, everybody should do something to motivate government and so called NGOs who is taking dollars promising to help that people. God Bless Them.

http://www.nayapatrika.com/newsportal/permalink/4459.html

Sick of this f**ing corrupted government of Nepal.. How long they will keep on fighting for the power and money.. God please do some miracle so that our so called f***ing powerful people will stop fighting and start helping these people... chimusichi, i am sorry but people in sajha are definitely interested in more kind of Rated R and sex thread but the problem is that after looking at this kinda thread , it makes us more sad thinking about the situation of our country.... We already have whole lots of shits going on here with our life, on top of that once in a while get a call from family asking about some sort of help, and with all those shits in my life when i watch these kinds of video that makes me feel so ashamed about the situation of Nepal.. Lets say i decided to help them with few dollars and i am sure if we all people in sajha collect few dollars also, we can help those people but the problem is that wiil that be utilized in proper way when it'll reach Nepal?? Who can guarantee that??? Lets take an example, i have decided to leave this country and go back to Nepal and try to do some social service for people like them.. If i ask for some sort of donation in sajha with all the members and convince them saying that i will show each and every invoice of where and how i spend all the money, how many people do you think will help me??? Will you help me chimusichi??? I don't know whether you will or not because may be you are also like me who is surviving in pay check to pay check.. By the time you get your pay check, you will have dozens of bills piled up in your desk probably huh.. SO in that context how do you think will be able to help people back home??? P.S. Plz dont take it negatively, i am just sharing my two cents...No Offense to anybody...I don't want fight at least in this type of thread...

Dr. Aruna Uprety, a public health specialist, terms this a ‘rice crisis’ rather than a ‘food crisis’. Recalling her field trips to Mugu and Dolpa districts, she said that people in those areas have stopped harvesting traditional crops such as buckwheat, barley, finger millet and are now relying heavily on rice. "There is this misconception among the people that rice is the standard food compared to other food grains," says Uprety. "They regard millet and barley as low quality food and prefer rice instead." source: http://ipsnews.net/news.asp?idnews=43721 Nonetheless... i do agree the Nepal Government is doing nothing about it.

It is true people's choices and taste has been change to 180 Degree. Which is bad as well good. Let me ask a question, why in city people do not have cow or buffalo to milk? We have been encouraged to do so becoming modern and readily available and it is a hard work. Status is part of our lives and that is why we like to be named Bhate rather than KODE, ROTE. The residence of remote got choices , now they rely more on government than themselves. We are becoming slave of our own habits as well the modern society leading us to that situation. One main reason is Migration of youth work forces to middle east or big city leave the fertile land un-occupied. What ever money they are getting are used to get food which leads the food demand up and supply getting worst. The business people are making money selling on the spot than transporting to those rural area, means insufficient supply is created. Still the YCL are not behind getting the weekly ransom, why work hard and feed those bastards specially in the western Nepal and in those remote areas.
