Does anyone know if it is possible to go back to the old employer when H1-b filed by the new employer is already approved. Provided that the old employer still has not cancelled the holding H1??

you can hold multi H1 from multi employers

Going back to previous employer should not be a problem if they haven't revoked the h1B.
