There is no guarantee in our NEPAL that...


when municipality water supply will be available


when electricity will be available


Your kids come home safely and donot hav to pay for kidnapper.


Your husband come home safely


Your daughter/sister is not a victim of rape


Your job is safe


You are not cheated


You have human rights


You get justic


You get commodity for livelihood


Your voice will be heared by the authority


You can freely travel without any NEPAL BANDH


You get mobile signal


Your mobile is safe and not looted DIN DAHADAI.


You donot have to fight for booking Theater for showing Nepali Movie


You donot have to do CHAKADI for transfer and promotion and VIDESH BHRAMAN (unless you are the computer operator at PM  office.)


Good customer care from service provider ( as they think you survive because of them , not other way round)


National Channel show Non-Nepali Cultural show (could be Indian, Chinese, etc etc) in Nepali New Year.


These are just a few and request SAJHA users to highlight MORE

Neerman Ji,


          Could you please care to answer few of my curiosity?


     1)  Are all those list your first hand experience?


     2) Did not you find any positive things Nepal have?


     3) When was the last time you visited Nepal?


I believe, you are professional working in USA and can provide direction for improvement..Do you have any recommendation on how we can improve in worse situation you have pointed out int the list..

There is no guarantee that people will post intelligent postings in Sajha.


 


Talking about guarantee, name me a country that has the guarantee for 10% of the things that you mentioned. Can US guarantee when electricity will be available? Most of the time they have electricity, but guarantee???


The constitution of the US guarantees few rights that her citizens have, the list you provided are beyond the funamdental rights.


My point is what do you get defaming your own country? Can we participate in some constructive criticism or we just wanna sit here and complain about everything.


"Ask not what your country has done for you. Ask what you can do for your country."

पत्यारिलो लक्ष्य लिन सरकारलाई दाताहरुको सुझाव

 








दातृसंस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरुसंगको बैठक
पुरा गर्न नसकिने लक्ष्य राख्दा अरुले नपत्याउने दातृ निकायका
प्रतिनिधिहरुले बताएका थिए

नेपालस्थित विदेशी दातृ निकायका प्रतिनिधिहरुले सरकारलाई
पुरा गर्न सकिने र पत्यारिलो लक्ष्यहरु राख्न सुझाव दिएका छन्।

उच्च आर्थिक वृद्धिको लक्ष्य पूरा गर्न सरकारले ठूलो मात्रामा
वैदेशिक सहयोग माग्ने तयारी गरिरहेको बेला उनीहरुको त्यस्तो भनाइ आएको छ।


वैशाख मसान्तमा हुने नेपाल विकास मञ्चमा प्रस्तुत गरिने विकास
रणनीतिबारे दातृ निकायहरुसंग मंगलबार आयोजित छलफलको क्रममा अधिकारीहरुले सरकारको
ठूल्ठूला लक्ष्य प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए।


यो वर्ष चार प्रतिशत भन्दा कम रहेको आर्थिक
वृद्धिलाई आगामी तीन वर्षमा दोब्बरभन्दा बढी पु-याउने; त्यसको लागि चाहिने साढे
पाँच खर्ब रुपियाँको लगानी जुटाउने; गरीबीको रेखामुनि रहेका जनसंख्यालाई एक
चौथाइबाट तीन वर्षमा बीस प्रतिशतको हाराहारीमा झार्ने जस्ता लक्ष्यहरु समेटिएको
विकास रणनीति सुनिसकेपछि दातृ प्रतिनिधिहरुले अपत्यारिलो मानेका थिए।


बैठकमा बोल्दै विश्व बैंककी नेपाल प्रमुख सुजन गोल्डमार्कले
भनिन, “थोरै लक्ष्य लिएर त्यो भन्दा बढी काम गर्नु महत्वपूर्ण हुन्छ न कि पूरा गर्न
नसकिने ठूल्ठूला लक्ष्य लिनु।"


“जब तपाईं साढे सात देखि साढे आठ प्रतिशत आर्थिक वृद्धिको कुरा
गर्नुहुन्छ तपाईंले त्यो लक्ष्य पत्यारिलो भएको अरुलाई विश्वास दिलाउन सक्नु पर्छ।
नत्रभने तपाईंलाई अरुले गम्भीर रुपमा नलिने खतरा हुन्छ।"


ठूल्ठूला कुरा


सरकारले ठूल्ठूला कुरा गरेर काम भने त्यस अनुसार नगरेको भन्दै
दातृ निकायका प्रतिनिधिहरुले असन्तुष्टि व्यक्त गरेका थिए।


दश वर्षमा दश हजार मेगावाट बिजुली निकाल्ने सरकारको योजनातर्फ
संकेत गर्दै गोल्डमार्कले भनिन्, “एउटा उदाहरण छ, हामीले ३० मेगावाटको योजनामा
लगानी गर्न सात वर्षदेखि पर्खिरहेका छौं। यदि यस्ता योजनाहरुमा छिटो निर्णय गरिएमा
साना योजनाहरु बन्ने थिए, जसले ठूला योजना कार्यान्वयन गर्नमा विश्वास बढाउने
थियो।"


प्राथमिकता


दातृ प्रतिनिधिहरुको असन्तुष्टि सरकारले प्राथमिकता प्रष्टयाउन
नसकेकोमा पनि थियो।


छरपष्ट योजनाहरुले ध्यान धेरैतिर बाँडिने बताउँदै उनीहरुले
त्यसको आलोचना गरे।


नेपालको सबैभन्दा ठूलो द्विपक्षीय सहयोगकर्ता बेलायती नियोग
डिएफआइडिका नेपाल उपप्रमुख टोनी बर्डनले भने, "सरकारको योजना ठूलो र व्यापक छ तर
त्यसमा प्रष्ट प्राथमिकताहरु देखिंदैनन्।"


“यदि मन्त्रिपरिषदले कुनै पाँचवटा प्राथमिकता तोकेर त्यसलाई
पुरा गर्न गम्भीरता पूर्वक लाग्छ भने बरु हामीले परिवर्तन अनुभव गर्न सक्नेछौं।"


दातृ प्रतिनिधिहरुले देशमा शान्ति सुरक्षाको स्थितिप्रति पनि
गहिरो चिन्ता प्रकट गरेका थिए।


हाम्रा काठमाण्डूस्थित संवाददाता भन्छन्, नेपाल विकास मञ्चको
बैठक अघि प्रमुख दातृ निकायहरुले देखाएको चिन्ता र चासोले सरकारको सामु विकास सहयोग
जुटाउन चुनौती थपिदिएको छ।
