my hotmail isnt working ..

hya lato... What a poor speculation; ;-) Your hotmail not opening does not mean hotmail server is down. It may be problem with your PC or in the transit.

They do not have a single server to maintian all the accounts and have highly content distributed network and fault tolerance. So very unlikly their server is down. If it was down it would have been news like on May 2000.

i am getting a message saying

HOTMAIL SERVER IS BUSY PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER


if i type in the wrong password, it says incorrect password, but if i type correct password i get the SERVER BUSY message.

Then that does not mean server down... it happens to me very few times.. and may be that time it could not handle large number of concurrent connections... anyway it may be that server responding to the requests but limited connections...
