To those who do Masters and so on......they do it only because they were not able to find a JOB after undergrad. I would say try to find a job. It all depends on you too...what u want to do...do u want to do PHD or what. two years of work experience is equal to masters. IF a guy with a masters and a guy with couple years work experience apply for a job most likely a guy with experience will get a job. It is different in teaching job though. For international if we cant find a job then to save our status we have to other choice then go for Masters and after that PHD....

Better get some experience before doing Masters.Employers regards experience more than the degree. for your own satisfaction you may pile up the degree.

Work or do internship for sometime. You will have greater opportunity after you finish your masters. More can be learned from real life experience than from course book, I think.

I'd say work if you have the choice and then after a year or so with the company, get them to pay for your masters (which I'm sure most of the Fortune 500 companies do).
Simple as dat!!

If you can a job then work. You can go to school and finish MS at your own pace. As Samsara said most of the companies apy for your education if you are working.

You should definately get a job. I know it's hard to find a job for an international student but still you should try your best.

I say go for your Masters if you are getting funding even if it is partial funding. I got my masters directly after undergrad not because I didnt find a job, I just wanted to enter the job pool with a masters degree. They pay you more at work if you have masters. I got funded fully so it would have been a stupid decision for me to decline that and go get a job.

If you have to pay for masters from your pocket, then it might make sense to look for a job first and maybe go back to school part time. Just keep in mind that you are better off getting a masters and the sooner you do it, the better it is for your career.

Oh, I work in the compensation field and I know that the employers are willing to substitute the required experience with a masters. Eg: if the job asks for 2-3 years of experience but you are fresh out of grad school, they will hire you anyway.
Good luck!

Find a job that pays for ur masters. Most of 'em r willing to pay for 'cauz employee education is for employer's benefits...I'm tired of paying too much money for college ..now its time make someone else pay for it...

I would say go for work.."Padera ko nai thulo bhako cha?" Haathi padera thulo bhako hoina and musa napadera sano bhako ho9ina hehhe..Kidding.. If you work then you will get more experiences and thats all it counts in future to get a good job unless you want to be a lecturer..

If you have loans, definitely go for work. Pay those off and then enroll for a Masters. You will have a much better view on what you want to do

go for masters...think about long run...don't think about earning ......short run.....as most of the masters is supported by uniersities or some sort of funding...its not like that if u don't get job then have to go for study.....but its for your future.....if u have education then it will help u not in us only bit u can compete.....anywhere else....i know a lot of persons....who regret for just doing undergrad....as it hinders in your future career.....but if you want to have to have some sort of work experience then you can work...for some years...but don't give up to have to have your degree...but it depends on your feild also.....however, whatever is your field ....education alwasys gives you better option.....wish u all the best for your decision and future....

I'd say start your career after undergrad or as early as possible. It depends upon the major, or the kind of school you go to too. I am in IT field, so masters degree or undergrad degree you are nothing till you have real work experience. They wont even look at your resume without work experience.. I'd prefer to have work experience + bachelors degree than no experience with masters.
