Just wanted to share experience and need help to know the average processing time for PIMPS verification regarding H1B interview in US Embassy in KTM. I had an Interview on 15th oct and it went well.it did last for 10 min. At the end consular mention " everything is fine" They kept my passport. it was listed NO PIMPS verification.

Those who went to to similar situation or have an information regarding this, Could you please kindly share.
-what is average processing time to verify the PIMPS?
- what would be my next step?

I had a similar scenario 6 months ago and it just took 3-4 days !!!
I provided the US no, so I didn't got a call but I checked it online, 3rd day it was saying on Processing and on 4th day when I checked, it said, I could pick it up as it has been approved !!!

I forgot the website to check it online, you can find the link at the bottom of the paper (slip) that was handed by the counselor. Yeah they would give u a call but while filing online application, I was in US and had entered US no.

I checked my case online, it still showing it is under processing. I was wondering what is an average processing time to process H1B in KTM Consular? Just have thought, shall i sent an email to embassy to find out the current status of my case? have you guys have any faces, if so could you please share the info. Your help will be appreciate.

I do not know, what is the average time for the verification. Mine just took 3-5 days.
You could try sending them an email but if they have any info, they would have already updated online for you.

Thanks all for your Information, Finally got Visa Issued :) after 2 rounds of interview :-). Now I am planning for H4 Visa for my spouse while i am here. Please share the info if anyone has gone through this process.. or happen to know the information regarding h4 visa and also please include the list of documents that are required for H4 Visa.

17. her Original Passport.

Does she has to carry whole packets such as contract with vender, project related documents, client letter) . ? embassy did pims verification for my h1b stamping, do you think embassy will re verified PIMS?
