Even though i like Atlanta Hawks but i would have to go with Cleveland Cavaliers. They are led by a potential League MVP and the most balanced roster of any team. Not to mention that they have all healthy bodies right now and blowing teams out of the water and have the best point differential in the league. Top three defence, top three offense. Above all, their front court and back court is the most balenced. Theres no way Celtics win this year with limping Garnett, he is the major component of celtics engine, without him i dont think celtics gor further then second round. Go CAVALIERS

its a very tough call for the western conference this year.absolutely anyone could take it all the way.been a houston fan for the last 14 yrs and this year looks a little more promising to me.one could argue that they have been into playoffs a number of times and have been eliminated in the first round year after year. but u know what .....the curse isnt there anymore.TRACY is gone!!!its not a matter of a superstar taking over a game, like in tracys' case, but a chemistry that houston has now is the key. aniwho, match-ups are gonna be interesting. dont count out no one...if lakers play dallas, thats gonna be one hell of a game too.upsets not definite but likely in my opinion.so good luck to all..... APRIL 18th it is...............

For me, being a Allen Iverson fan, i want Detroit to win this year. As AI is injured and will not be able to play for the rest of the season,, i think detroit has less chance to win over Cavs in their first round.. I love watching Miami, portland blazers and Denver. Although the chances for this teams to win are pretty slim, i want those teams to beat the overrated teams. the most deserved player for the 2009 MVP is D-WADE. Kobe and lebron are good too, but they have a better team than wade. But Wade is making his team better. IMAO..

I dont think Dallas could create any problem for LA. Though they are playing well for last few games, they wont be able to beat LA in playoff. NO might be challenging opponents to LA if Tyson chandler is back. In the Eastern conference Boston is not good enough to beat CAVS with home court and not fully fit Garnet. Lebron is MVP all the way this year. Wade need to have good supporting player to win more games and MVP.

Lets go Mavs!! If they keep playing like the way they are playing last three games...we will be alright. We could go all the way to West Finals and face Lakers. Thats for sure. Hope our reserves play well in the playoffs. Go Mavs!!!

if you look at western conference, from 2nd seed to 8th seed, anybody can beat anybody. they have been separated by not more than 5 games. Mavs r still on the pace to 50 win season even after the most inconsistent season. n Vs. Kobe n Co. they are not invincible. they can be beat. Mavs have good chance if J-Ho keep doing what he doing now i.e. playing his game.. doing everything..all they have to do is stay hot, keep momentum thru out the playoffs. we have good chance since we are under the radar. we do good when we r underdog. Go Mavs!!!
