I was wondering if anybody could enlighten me about Salman Khan's trip to Nepal back in early 90's or so when I was a kid. I used to hear that Salman Khan was beaten by some Nepalis while he was flirting with some Nepali girls or something.....

It is true that when salman came to KTM all gals went crazy . It was like almost undeclared holiday in PK.Rumour was that shruti, the late princess , had requested his autograph. And guess what? boys got pissed off and booed him whenever and whereever they got chance, high security was given to him so any chance of getting near to him was scarce. And this was not the first time, when big AB came before for shooting of some film same kind of hysteric craze was in KTM.

I heard the local wannabe heros (or wannabe villains) were taunting Shakti Kapoor for a duel when he came to Kathmandu to shoot a movie called Mahaan (with Amitabh, Gabbar Singh, Amjad Khan, etc.) So this is not a 90's only phenomenon, apparently it happened in 80's too, and I am sure it happened back in 60's or 70's when Dev Anand came to film his hippie movie with Zeenat Aman (forgot the name of the movie).

Yup thats so true........i think since Late Princess Shruti was a big fan of Sallu, after that incident they banned him from coming to Nepal. There was a guy who used to live in my neighbourhood he said that he too had wacked salman's ass that time. I dont know for real though.

Thats for enligtening me folks! BTW Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman along with Mumtaz came to Kathmandu to shoot " Hare Raama Hare Krishna " .
I wanted to know if Salman Khan had done anything to disrespect Nepal or Nepalese that must have outraged general Nepalis.
