I am not starting this thread because I've seen maaany threads where they've insulted Nepali girls and how they lack fo good looks. But before saying that, do any of you agree that Nepali guys are good lookings? I am talking about the majority. There are hardly Nepali boys that are cute. Nepali guys dont have hot bodies, they dont have the height, they are short, some skinny, very small and so not manly. They lack of the manlyness. They just say Nepali girls are ugly, this and that and Im not saying all of you but Ive seen lot of threads that are insulting Nepali girls and their looks. For me, Nepali being asians are just how they are, thats how they were born, why compare with the black and whites? I mean if you say Nepali girls are ugly and got no boobs or asses, same thing is for the Nepali boys, they lack the manlyness and they're short and lot of them are desperate in finding girls. No offence!
And it is not like tit for tat.

Brilliant Brunette, my luv, seems to me like we would get along prettttttty well, as I love South Park and some of the movies you named. Do you watch the Sopranos? Might be classified as drama, but I say 50% of it is pure, unadulterated humor. Just love it. A big fan of Seinfeld--I have watched every episode at least 5 times ;). Oh don't worry hon, your sense of humor well compensates for your weaknesses--shrill laughter and dentistophobia(my own word). Oh and just for the record I go to the dentist every six months ;). Some researches have found that dental problems can lead to heart problems. There is definitely a link there. But hey, you seem to be pretty meticulous about cleaning your teeth.I have no choice, so a regular visit to the dentist is a necessity for me. Seems to me like you don't go to the dentist b/c your hands are tied in the sense that the problem is with your healthcare coverage, and not b/c you hate dentists . Oh, and if it gets unbearable, I do have a contingency plan : a gas mask that would even protect from Anthrax! So hon, don't worry about your weaknesses b/c if all goes well I'll only see your strengths. So hon, the cards are on the table. Wanna go out with me or not? Your choice.

Oh, I don't know. Americans watch TV for 4 hours daily, on average. I never miss Seinfeld repeats coz Seinfeld is the funniest sitcom ever!

Rudra Prasad JI ,

I must admit Seinfeld is pretty hilarious, tara I dont have time to sit and watch TV (timing mildaina). Nepal ma basera 9 pm dekhi sabb Star TV dekhi Zee TV ko tele-serials herna pauney ta aba sapna hola jasto chha (atleast for a long time). Kahiley kahi ta ads aayeko bela ma yeso HBO ko movie pani herna bhyauthiyo.

About my dentist-phobia, it actually started in Nepal. Wisdom-tooth problems solve garney dhoko ley gayeko, although I couldnt feel anything, I could hear the doc crackin my tooth - and eek ! tyaha dekhi - taadhai bata ram ram ! Yes, I take care of my teeth because I wudnt wanna be in the situation ever again. :(

Thank you for accepting me as I am (with my flaws n weaknesses), but I read what you posted earlier. Aba Meera and Nails huda hudai, yesto ta garnu bhayena ni! I wouldnt wanna do that to my fellow Nepali women you see. (FEMALE SOLIDARITY).

Anyways, how was your day? Wishing you a Good Evening :)

They show Seinfeld on two different channels. I haven't watched recent episodes of South Park, you know, especially not the ones about Al Gore and that whole Oprah Winfrey ruckus.
The type of girl I like is usually smart and classy, and possessing a brilliant mind to boot(Brilliant Brunette, your name makes you very appealing in my eyes). I may act like a clown on this board, but in real life I am quite different. Just a heads up, because some of you ladies seem to love that proverbial "bad guy" persona. I am not that type of person, and women with a mean streak really bother me.

(This is veering into "serious" territory. I apologize hai BB, haha).

Hmm, Brilliant Brunette, you sound pretty busy. Are you a student or are you working or are you trying to balance both work and school? How do you keep yourself so busy? Although I work full time--the company is one of those small businesses, but it is actually expanding rapidly-- and go to school, part time, as well(will have a Master's degree in my pocket in a couple of weeks) I seem to have a lot of free time on my hands. Most Nepalis seem to just jump straight to Master's and study full time. I didn't choose this option. I am very satisfied with the type of life I lead. You know how graduate courses are, you get A's if you're on the teacher's good side, so I don't seem to study a lot. I have this take-home exam due this monday and I haven't even started it. I like reading books, mostly nonfictions, and watching movies when possible. Now that I'm in my mid 20's, I am not into clubbing and partying, and whatever else younger boys and gals like to do. Saturdays and Sundays are snorefests to tell you the truth. Time goes by cleaning the house, mowing the lawn, doing the dishes(usually have a big stack by the time weekend approaches), walking my two dogs, barbecuing when the weather is nice, and watching tv and surfing the net. I had a lot of time on my hands when I was doing my undergrad as well. My dorm buddies were all White guys. These guys were primarily conservatives(one even tried to convert me to Christianity--told him I didn't believe in organized religions), and never drank, smoked or went partying( by the way, this is very typical of Americans. The estimate is that almost 50 percent of Americans don't drink--the number ranges from 30-50). Boy, did they study or what? You know how Nepalis think that Americans are lazy bums? This is not true from my own experience.
I use weekends to research investment opportunities b/c I'm trying to save money-- who knows I might need it for a rainy day. I don't know, but most adults I know ( Americans--I don't really know very many Nepalis unfortunately :(, ke garnu, came here when I was in my teens and don't have contact with my old Nepali buddies ) are leading the same type of lifestyle. I know it sounds boring, but I think this is a typical lifestyle for adults here in America. I have talked about this with my colleagues. This is what they tell me. I'm not even gonna start on some of these older folks who have hildren. They have an even more pathetic life. So, how do you keep yourself so busy? I just can't seem to do it.

The day was good for me. Hope you had a good day as well. Hoping to hear from you by tomorrow evening. Till then adieu. :).

TimeTraveller,

"Fight gardai lop gardai. I guess rudra's been aroused by brunette's name.I haven't seen her on sajha before. You new here brunette?"

Yes I am new here. And please, do not use the word Love in vain. Kaha love, kosko love, k ko love? Duita kura gardai ma love? Yesto ta bhayena hai aarop arka lai. I could be 12 OR 20 OR engaged OR married OR mother of 20 kids for all you know ! :((

Rudra,

Khoi, kei garey pani nagarey pani, aakha chimliyo ki an hour passes by, or is it just that I have mastered the art of procrastination? K garnu, dherai janney bhayey pani yestai hunchha ...hahah..jk (feri arrogant bhanla manchhey haru ley, aarop ta teer bata baad aayeko jasto aauchha). I hear you on the routine life ! But thats life I guess. Have to study, have to work, and have to TRY to be normal (dishwashing, cleaning, cooking etc). Judging from the conservative crowd you talk about, I am guessing you spent your college days down south, or mid west ? Or am I way off? The americans I come across have the aura of the exact opposite of what you describe above, but I think I know what you are talking about...

Lah..jatti kura garyo, it seems endless....

procrastinating yet again,
B.B.

BriLLiaNt-BruNeTTe,
I hope that you will pardon my intrusion in your funny yet suprisingly romantic interaction with Mr.Rudra. ;) (No offense to Mr. Rudra either). I was here reading and remaining the silent reader that sajha has forced me to become, and alas! I see your postings. I would just like to remind you that though Mr. Rudra promises you the fantastic first date where he does everything less than bring the stars and moon to your feet, you should always think about your other choices (wink wink). I hope I am not stepping in an unauthorized property and overall, I hope that you truly understand what I mean. Do not take me for the intruder I am, take me as a well wisher who wishes to see a lot of you in the future!

Yours Truly,
Rythm! (or poke-my-nose-in-others-convo.-Rythm!!)

(Now I am fanatically praying to god that you know who I am!!:s)

Err Brilliant, I was referring to Rudra when I meant "lop". Also, I wasn't using it in "vain". I gues a bit of a joke doesn't go a long way in sajha. I have enough sense to realize who's after who.
I appreciate your reply though.

Rythm !! (okay, I hope you are who I THINK you are. Since I happen to know only one Rythm) Sanchai ? :)

"I hope that you will pardon my intrusion in your funny yet suprisingly romantic interaction with Mr.Rudra. ;) "

K ho yesto? arko aarop? I expected better from you. I am not romantically or flirtatiously interested in Mr. Rudra (or anyone here for that matter), and I am sure Mr. Rudra reciprocrates the feelings as well. Just because Mr. Rudra did not curse or talk crap doesnt mean he is trying to flirt. Haina? As far as the other so called options go- forget about OPTIONS, I dont think I am aware of having even a single CHOICE. :P. Sabb jana hajur jasto bhagyamani kaha hunchha rah? :)) Anyways, thanks so much for caring about me, and I really (truly and deeply) appreciate your concern.

best regards,

B.B.

hey aznshawty,

its good that you put up the thing here, BTW I just put up another post in response to yours titled Nepali Girls Vs. Nepali guys, please check that out.

personally I think most nepali girls are hotter than any other race, provided that they speak when they are spoken to(some of them are really hard to be reached "snobbish" should be the right word here ), finally although sizeable TNA is a definite plus I don't think that's the only thing that makes people HOT.

And one last thing....I wish Nepal girls would understand if somebody is trying to have a friendly conversation or is plain hitting on them...coz a lot of them think that they are being flirted with..even when dudes are insinuating nothing but a friendly conversation....that really makes it complicated.

have a nice day,
