getting fresh out of college i thought the first thing i should do in order to get a job..is buy a pretty suit...for $200.00 ..since then i wonder why I even bother to do what.. Its almost three years sinc i graduated but everytime there's an interview..there's puking..heartburn ..Like the Bank Manager the other day asked me.."Whatsyour goal in life?" what do you want to ultimately do..and before i had a hold onmy words I went something on the line " Right now I don't care, but ultimately, I would like to be one of the BOD of this institue and see it propering along with Me.""" The manager nearly choked on the table.. Is it only me or everybody else?? The first job I had was a supervisor at a store. Going by the books, I took it personally to take care of the business real good, that i amanged to fire at least 5 employees in the line..The reputation of being a B**tch was too much for me. The next time I was as gullible as can be. The problem was althoughtt he pay was good, the boss fell in Love and so did his lovely secretary..damn how am i to explain that i am not gay nor straight in the same breath Next job I had..I just decided to play by the rules.. So i shutup..so the other day the Boss caught me screaming on top of my lungs at a bar..then he said i might have to go through a lie detector if i wanna keep my job The next job, the boss is 24 and i am well more than that..so the kid takes me dancing...this time i thought i'll show ny real self..we hang out and party with frens...finally his mom calls up and says i'm a bad influence... I am simply sick and tired of finding the right way its almost next to impossible..how do you work or interview for that matter...? help

Come to UK; there are plenty of opportunities for a not-gay-nor-straight person like you. All you have to do is: keep your mouth open. In jest, JJ Pareli

The suit does not make the man/woman. Before you interview go read some books on possible questions and be prepared to answer them in a positive tone. Never be negative or say you want to be the big boss. Be yourself and be honest.

I applied for the job as a babysitter, I go to this house which has 3 kids in it. The oldest is not interested in talking to me. The other two kids look at me suspiciously. Their mom introduced me as the "new" babysitter and she leaves. Trying to act all friendly, I go, can I play with u guys? The eldest looks at his his younger brother and yells, "ATTACK." Before I know it, I am hit everywhere by these two kids. I lasted for 3 hrs in that job, I never returned the next day. Another job back in my Sophomore year, my African roomie says that she knows a place where they hire ppl and don't ask for social security card. So of course I applied. We were sent to a packaging factor/warehouse. Damn had to stand in my feet for 3 hrs, I saw all kinds of stars in front of me. The guy next to me stands rapping and does it better than Tupac. We actually got a break and this man with sweat-stained armpits tries to hit on me. When I tell him I am from Nepal, he wants to know where state is that in. In the second break, I left never returning there again. I have never worked off-campus since. At least they paid me for the full 8 hrs. Have u noticed that the math geeks are engineers now, the boring ones are doctors and the hotties hunks are working for these geeks and bores ;)
