Hello Guys,

 

i am planning to fly Delhi thru Emirate Airline JFK - Delhi as i can get relatively cheap ticket for $875 and after that i will take a connecting flight to KTM separately.

Could you share your experience with Emirates and if you recommed it to me. It has one stop at Dubai before Landing at delhi.

Additionally i can get Air India for $975 JFK to DELHi.

There is another option, try continental fron Newark.  It has direct flight to delhi around $850 range.

Pack,i have not flown in Emirates, but the Air India from JFK-DEL service is just fantastic! If u areplanning to travel thru India anyways, then i would suggest choose Air India (AI) for a # of reasons:1. the aircraft Boeing 777 used in this sector (JFK-DEL) is one of the brand new aircrafts of the AI that has all the comfort u wish for even in the economy class with a vareity of selection of inflightentertainment choices2. The AI crew are very professional and courteous and also very helpful-so if anything's needed while on or off the flight, help is constantly provided3. The AI crew at Indira Gandhi Int'l Airport in New Delhi are also very courteous and friedly..if u have any luggages probs like delays on any prob checking in (i had luggage prob coz my connecting flight out ofNewark was late so my luggage came late, but the AI crew on ground was so helpful and professional-i wasamazed!) they will help u out.4. if u fly Indian Airlines from DEL-KTM, u dont even have to check out and check in luggage in DEL, i believe,since both of them are the same company now (but be sure to confirm with travel agent on this)Thus, i would recommend flying AI, esp the JFK-DEL route & when u're travelling thru Delhi anyways.Also, they have a brief technical stop at LHR in London: just refueling, maintaince, and cleaning and some passangers pickup...its max an hour, so no big deal. The fare I gave was for round trip too.

Both are not bad but mainthing is connecting time in delhi or when you will arreive in delhi and did you booked the ticet to delhi ktm find the same day connection otherwise you have to stay over nite

Pack bro, u need to understand few things...
1st- Del to KTM and KTM to Del ko flight uhile jasto cheap chaina( approx 14000-16000rs just for one way)
so add the same amount when u will be returning back from KTM to Del...now sum up the total amount. That will be approx 400 dollars..400 nai hunna tara close to it..

now lets say JFK bata emirate airlines bata 875 ma gayo re, please dont forget to add 350 to 400 dollars up and down(Del-KTM).

second 975 ma air india bata direct flight delhi ma..add up the same amount again and add the price.(close to 1375)

save huncha tara india samma matra Nepal pugda orda price will be higher than they are offering right now...Luggage system ekdam tension huncha, sadhai connect garera ktm lagcha bhanne hundaina..it is at ur own risk..sometimes checkout garera check in garnu parcha natra missplace huncha..I have faced it myself.
$$ ko mamla ma saving hundaina so I would say 2-3 ota aru option rakhe ramro huncha.Sajha.com mai mathi presidents travel ko ma ako cha deal 600 for one way 1000 or 1100 for two ways tara without tax..tax pani high nai huncha ni close to 300 dollars 1400 or 1300 mai gayera end up huncha..luggage ko tension matra hunna price ta same nai huncha ni haina?.anyways have a nice trip back home.

Dharane kanchha, i had not thought about that. If the price of the ticket from Delhi to Ktm is about Rs 14K one way then in total i will end up spending more that what would have cost for JFK to KTM. I will take your point into consideration. Thanks
