I was returning form Nepal last week and they the immigration of Nepal stopped me from Boarding and asked me to have stamp my passport from labour Department first. How do we know that we need to stamp it from Labour dept and when we were not given any single information when we land Nepal . they say its the new RULE. NEPAL SUCKS. i understand that people who go to country like Dubai, Iraq...etc for labour work required that since they are trhough some agency but H1B here are not.
They stopped me till last 5mintue before my plane took off. those guys MF**** are ass holes. no information in the airport , Even American Embassy didnt gave such information. 100 of nepalese people with h1B were sent back home.

I am going to Nepal as well for H1b stamping. Please provide some info regarding this Labor dept. stamp. I saw a thread regarding this few weeks ago. I thought it is for those who apply for H1 from Nepal. No information regarding this in US embassy website.

Yeah  i was able to board the plane at the last moment  as i made couple of calls to the government high officials and you know how it works in nepal. But TRUST ME not everyone was able to board.
You need to go to labour department and get stamp or a letter from them and take it with you to the airport while u return. Please visit the Labour dept ( i think it is located in Baneshwor) and get more info.  MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE DOC AND STAMP from LABOUR DEPT. it is required for all h1b people that visit NEPAL.

go to shram bivag in baneshwor and get shram swikriti. may be one day work if you go there by early morning. you also have to go to rastriya bima sastha, which is in singha darbur. so take ur bike if you can. saves u some time.
