I was reading one paper where the movie was criticized and also saw it as a powerful political symbolism in the context of some countries. Now, I suddenly realized of our own Nepal. The theory can also be seen in the context of Nepal:
Soda bottle as a democracy:
Many people believed and still believe that democracy in 1990s was too early for Nepalese and they were not prepared for it. That's why there was so much chaos afterward, and all these unruly parties. People just couldn't handle it and government couldn't rule.
Soda bottle as a Republic:
In this case, few people and some countries believe that monarchy is a symbol of stability, and they fear that nepalese won't be able to handle it as well, and they often like to give examples of Iran, Afghanistan, and other countries, and the probability of being fallen into the hands of radicals.
Soda bottle as a Loktantra:
People suddenly thought that strike and 'bandh's are the only way to draw the attention from the government, and pressurize it and that is the way the government came to power. Hence, everybodyelse also needs to use 'soda bottle' now i.e. strikes and bandhs for all the solutions.
Soda bottle as a right to comment anonymously:
Users just cannot control themselves with this soda bottle, and need to write derogatory language, and racist remarks. Let it be about all those racists; why do all other non-racist people also need to respond to these stupid threads and make these threads as instant hits. So, san dai had to come and delete the thread (assumption: san dai as admin not sajha user).
Let's prove the theory wrong and start behaving responsibly.
