KATHMANDU, Nov 12 - The Nepali Cricket squad on Sunday registered a 205 run win against Singapore on the third day of the ACC Premier League match at the TU cricket grounds.

On the third and final day of the 3-day fixture, the Singaporeans were bowled out by the Nepali team for a paltry 196 runs on the board while chasing a 286 run target.

With today's victory, Nepal has garnered 33.10 of the 34 points of the League match rekindling hope that the Nepali squad will reach the finals.

Thanks to the victory, Nepal can saunter into the finals even if it ties with Malaysia in the final game of the league rounds.

Pulverising the Singaporean batting line up Captain Binod Das, was the pick of the bowler with his five-wicket haul against the visiting team. Similarly, Mehboob Alam and Basanta Regmi took two wickets each while Raj Kumar Pradhan and Paras Khadka scalped a wicket each.

Batting first after losing the toss, in the first innings Nepal accumulated 313 runs for nine. In the second inning, Nepal declared innings with 178 runs for 6 wickets, putting up a mammoth total of 402 runs target for the Singaporeans. The visitors' first inning was limited to 90 runs.

Paresh Lohani was declared "Best Batsman", Captain Binod Das "Best baller" while Mehboob Alam declared "Man of the Match".
