I need to write a paper for my dance and music class. I want to write something related to our culture. So I am planning on writing a paper on "The Lakhey Dance". So I need a few sources for research. If any of u could let me know any book or website that would help me that will be appreciated. This is the first time google couldn't help me. I hope you guys are able to help me out...I was able to find out the names of a few people who would be able to help me but I have had no luck finding their email adds..if anyone knows their email address pls let me know..the names are :razen manandhar,sarju ranjit ,binod ranjit, Daya Shakya(he is here in the us)...as far as I know, razen manadhar has written a lot of articles about the indra jatra festival, sarju and binod are from the lakhey family and Daya Shakya is a noted researcher for the newari culture.

Lakhey dance
This is one of the classical dance of Nepal. Once in a year during the festival of Indrajatra which is celebrated for nearly a week during the end of September or first part of October.
According to people's belief, Lakhey are man eating demons living in the dense forest. They hunt animals and people passing through the jungle. Whenever they have a good meal they dance with jog. Previously Lakhey dancers used to select victims for human blood sacrifices.

Thanks Big Enigma, appreciate the help. But I found the link during my Google search and wrote emails to everyone but guess what? It’s been 2 weeks and no response.
