I am applying for Advance Parole and was wondering what should I put under Purpose of visit section? what will be a valid reason? Please share your experience.

Also, will it make any difference if I select Multiple trips for the question "How many times do you intend to use this document? ".

1. Visiting old parents after a long time
2. going for brother/sisters marriage
3. to sort out your property, etc.
just 1 reasonable reason is fine.

better to mention not more than 2 trips to Nepal only.

If your last recent visa says "Student"
then put F1 Visa (Student Visa) even if that is already expired.
Category of visa is on your visa document
such as F1, H1, H4, B1/B2
etc. put that info there. on Part 1 info

Are you Sunita Pradhan from Los Angeles ? Do you know Santosh ? I'm his brother.

You can apply for Travel document only if there is any family medical emergency. That's what the lawyer told my friend.

@Manepalinari , that is valid only for emergency based advanced parole which you can get on a same day.

It looks like, OP is in approved TPS status. I have seen many Nepalese travelling to Nepal with this travel document and coming back without any issue.

It does not need to be "severe medical situation" to apply for this document.

Thank you all. I have applied for AP and mentioned Visit my old parents as my purpose of visit. Hopefully, it will be approved.
