I went to Nepal after 6 years, no issue.
The only thing I can think of suggesting is take you laptop and if in case you have to wait for like a month you can work from there. If that is at all possible.
One of my friend works in Semicondoctor. When he went nepal had to wait for like a month to get the visa stamped.
Get your documents straight:
table of content
1) H-1B 767A
2) your resume( consular will just look at your resume and make discussion points from your resume)
tip 1: don;t have stuff like you worked in Los Angeles if you have never been to LA and consular start discussing and you are caught
in my case the consular just glanced at resume and we were about that till he granted visa
one of my friend was working in Omaha, consular was from same city he was just discussing about the city
3) employement verification letter from employer
4) Tax documeent
5) last 6 monts bank to show the direct deposit of pay check
6) travel tickets/hotel stay during transit
7) last 3 pay check
The thing i mentioned might not apply for every case but just as an reference.
Best of luck
