He said he wanted to make a larger point about debating important issues.

This whole thing is silly and not something the entire nation should be debating on. Didn’t we resolve this in 2010 election? At that time everybody pointed finger at Obama and his birth nation, nobody pointed it to his opponent McCain, who actually wasn’t even born in any of the 50 states in USA.


Trump resurrected this issue as this was his only trump card left; he knew how extreme right would respond to it. He has lost any bit of respect people had for him, unless you are a racist.

Well, don't give him the ammunition of wikipedia, we all know it is not a source that can be cited.

One of the theme in Corsi's book is the difference between CERTIFICATION of live birth and CERTIFICATE of live birth.

leave aside all the conspiracy theroies, if I were republican I would focus on the policies matters. As stiffler said above, they( whites from both parties) would never had let the black kid to become a candidate, let alone the president,  had they found out any thing substantial to prove that obama is not born in US. Actually republicans never wanted obama to present any proof so that they keep on making this issue to bash him. This is one of the reason why the certificate wasn't released. As long as the burden of proof is with Obama, he can never satisfy the nay-sayers. If I post my niece's birth certificate, I guarantee you can find 1000 flaws in them.

Okay...i agree with you on  "Gold Men" owning both parties in this country, but you really think it would have been any different if McCain had won the election??? If you agree that presidents are selected and not elected then i would think that you also assumed that both McCain and Obama were selected for the presidency and regardless of who had won they would have worked for the Bankers (Chaudharies in our Nepali Context)

About Ron Paul.....Old man is a good debator and seems to speak from the base of liberty and free market principle. But most americans do not even understand the meaning of Liberty or Free market anymore. Ron Paul is so off main stream that he will never ever get enough vote to make any difference. Bankers own the Media, Military, congressmen, businessmen and other resources. I do not think just by voting you can make a difference. You need a French like revolution to gain what you advocate for.

Even thought Ron Paul seems apealing, i prefered Obama over McCain....and will prefer Obama over Trump or Palin again.

Many circumstances give a feeling that Obama is being made a target just bcz he is black. Though US is supposed to not discriminate according to color, Obama is being a target and that will happen to any other color president other than white.

You asked an intersting question. I voted Obama for two reason. One he said he would work on bringing the troops back and second i wanted a black presidency to be a huge " FK YOU" to racist white people.

My first reason to vote Obama is dead....Forget about bringing the troops back....Obama declared a third war. But my second reason is playing better than i expected. Racist white people are running around like a headless chicken, they throw everything they can to the black man hoping something sticks. Racist white people feel like they are losing this country no a non white. They see all the mexicans on the road, Indians at work, and Black as a president they can't stay rational anymore.

So i think you have asked the right question...and the answer is, if Obama was 100% white, Republicans would have just been angry at him, like they were to Clinton and Carter....but since Obama is half black...he gets all the hatred...such as muslim, terrorist, no birth certificate, hitler, socialist, communist etc..

Talking about Race card being played.....one of my co worker was saying that most minorities voted Obama becasue he was black and went on to add  " i bet if there were two white people running for a president, most minorities would just stay home and not vote"
