Below are three biblical scriptures that speak of God having a fore-knowledge of us before we are born.

1. Because we are His workmanship. Because He loves us even in the womb: "For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. 3. Because even before we're born we are important to Him: "...Before I was born the Lord called me..." Isaiah 49:1b

So looks like someone can bash Hinduism and all the god and goddesses as well and say wotever the hell they wanna say abt it as well - wot say you Bathroomji? what the hell is wrong with you dalli. do you think you are the only one who have read bible. i have read bible so many times. it is not science. it is just something some people wrote long time ago so that they can influence people to follow them. it was okay at that time. but time has now changed you can't just quote bible and think that i will believe that or back your argument. it is not a sound argument.

you see if someone says hydrogen and oxygen combine to form water and energy i will go check in the literature published from different institutions and if i am not convinced i will go into a lab put H and O in a container and ignite it sure enough a pop is heard and heat and water is formed.

citing bible doesn't prove anything. it's like reading harry potter and believing in magic and telling people look it is true and quoting paragraphs from harry potter. see i don't have any problem if you believe in something but if you are in a public domain and claiming something you have to prove it. otherwise what is your purpose.? obviously you can't convert people like me. if reading beblke several times did not impress me i doubt that you would have any extraordinary talent to paraphrase bible for me.

As I have said in a previous post God has given everyone a talent or ability that they are really good at. Sometimes mulitple talents. Not everyone who is Christian has a talent for teaching or even understanding scripture. Sometimes we have to be trained into our talents.

Most Christians don't have the talent for teaching nor understanding scripture otherwise we wouldn't need preachers and pastors to lead us in church and even among those who do have a talent for it there is many times disagreement for what scripture means.

However, for you I would say you are clinging too tight to your own belief system. I'm not saying convert to Chrisitianity or anything for that matter. This world needs people like you because you remind us that even God wants us to question our beliefs otherwise why would he tell us to pursue wisdom.

I don't like this particular annoying attitude of human beings irrespective of what religion they follow - they don't use the brain that their God has given to them and instead follow books that have been written by a human just like them thousands of years ago... I can understand that people then unarguably followed them because they were neither scientifically nor mentally advanced enough to see it otherwise. But some people still do that in the 21st century???? Unbelievable!!!

I also don't like it when people don't admit that their religion is not flawless - instead keep iterating some idiotic blunt lies like an enegizer bunny on a run just to make their religion look good. well dear dalli i do not believe things for gods sake i know things. i do not have a belief system i have a system of knowledge and reasoning and coming to colclusion. thanks for the compliment but wisdom comes from inspection and experience not from belief.

i was watching some evengelical show and this pastor was telling how to have faith in something when you don't know it. he gave and example of someone sitting on a chair without looking if actaully it is there. that was the lamest example. that is not belief that is common sense which comes from experience. anyways haven't anyone fell believing that there is a chair and not looking. He questions to only on your belief, nothing else? Otherwise, how come he forgives you even for your wrong deeds? So, belief is everything that takes you to heaven and good or bad deeds have no weight while judging your suitability in to heaven?

Some people said knowledge changes everything. Galileo changed the Bible because of his theory. It's a proven fact that a virgin can't give birth unless she is cloned. Where is the religious tolerance ("dharmik sahishnuta") that we were supposed to be proud of according our primary/middle school textbooks in Nepal? Does that apply to only minorities like us who are supposed to be tolerant towards Hindus and Buddhists?

Bathroom Coffee: I think you are misunderstanding faith. Faith is merely confidence in God's love for you. Many people think faith is some power but it is not it is not that complicated. It can be powerful though just like having faith that your car will start for work in the morning otherwise you'd not even try starting your car.
