During my tenure in Christian experimentation I ran into a lotta Folks that used to say they have conversations with Jesus. I was like whaaa ? Are we talking about the same Jesus that Died 200o yrs ago ?And they were serious.

What great depth of words those were, but unfortunately the fellow "christians" did not like "No religion" thing and protested. John Lennon had to change it to "No aggression too" later for one of his concerts.

Agree that one should resprect other's belief but would not it be great if all people can believe in one thing (no religion) so that there are no more DIFFERENCES among people like the one we are witnessing in this particular thread?

Although I am a hindu by birth, I would be more than happy to leave it, if all people in the world can do so to their religions. Let there be 'No Religion"!!

It very much looks like you want to end this discussion because you cannot explain about the doubts of people in logical terms. If I were to get my doubts answered (which seems exteremely remote) in logical terms I'm more than willing to convert myself to Christianity.

I'm simply not willing to believe in things just because some character invented by humans some 2 thousand years ago told people to believe in him. If he could have had
explained things in logical terms I would have truned to Christianity a long time ago.

God did not make us robots because he wants us to love him because we want to. Also, The Vatican does what the Vatican does that is why not everyone who is Chrisitian have the same beliefs. By the way there are many Christian organizations that are doing charitable work in Africa.

Bathroom Coffee: I think you are misunderstanding faith. Faith is merely confidence in God's love for you. Many people think faith is some power but it is not it is not that complicated. It can be powerful though just like having faith that your car will start for work in the morning otherwise you'd not even try starting your car.

You are not a true Christian if you dont believe that the sun revolves around the our earth. God made the sun to revolve around the earth and that is the way it is. You cannot doubt on God because he wanted things to be this way.

Galileo Galilei is an enemy of god. He was sent to our world by a satan , that is the reason why he got into trouble with the the Roman Catholic Church in the late 1500s for telling the world that in fact it is the earth (not the sun) that revolves around the sun.

Had he not discovered this fact, till this day the Christians around the world would still be telling and trying to make us believe that the sun revolves around the earth just because the god made things to be this way.

Dally, you can claim anything you like, so no problem if you say the God created universe. I think Christian people change themseves, and much more thing they believe during the course of time.

They even change their holy book. It was written in the Bible before 15th century that Christianity and monarchy can not go together. Tthe then King of Britain made someone to write the Bible so that it would also accept King.

When you don't know something, you say that's God's work, he only knows, no one knows. then When it becomes enlighten and everybody come to know it. You would say, yes God let you know something or something like this.

how can you claim such think with particular faith as you know things in this earth are changing and keep completely changed almost in every 5000 years. Do you think any religion such as Christianity will alive until that point? Everything has to die and it will in the case of faith too. So, in next 1000 years, I predict that Christianity will die out, more than 95% and there would be lots more faiths within it which does not even recognize Christianity in next 5000 years.

Remember that there must be lots more faith before the birth of Christianity and many more died at their infancy.
