i am fed up dealing with nepalese, fed up with them taking me for granted. want to do something good, and then khutta taana tan. no responsibility, just play. thats what I have noticed with MAJORITY of nepalese i have met. They try to act all cool like they dont give a sh!t. I love my country and my culture but I am starting to feel irritated by my own people. I compare us with other countrymen and sometimes feel we are soooo far behind.

I am not stereotyping this to ALL nepalese, but majority of us. when will we ever learn?

You alll are welcome to flame me, but you all know the truth, you all just scared to let it out because you wanna be patriotic. well defending bunch of idiots will not make one. realize the truth.

I was done commenting on this thread but want to respond to a couple of things:

Benign stupidity can be ignored. Harmless needling can be ignored too. I have it to others in the past as well. However, if stupidity is to be used an excuse to trash other people's character, families and personal lives and throw around racist and casteist insults, then it must be dealt with. If some people have a high threshold for tolerating such things, then that's their choice, but not everyone chooses to take it that way.Not me at least. No one with an ounce of dignity can "ignore" personal attacks of the nature we often see on Sajha. Besides it ridiculous and unreal to expect that someone should be allowed to go around throwing shit unchecked and others should just take it lying down.

Anyways, what's the harm in striving for sensible conversation that's free from personal attacks - I think it makes the site better and more usable for everyone.

But we are way off topic there - this was about one person's feeling towards his countrymen and not about social dynamics and etiquette in Sajha.

Coming back to the topic , am curious to hear The Hareeb's reactions. The Hareeb, has this conversation affected your thoughts and feelings on the subject since you first posted?
