how many of u nepali out there eat beef

I agree with newguy007. Noone should dictate what an individual should eat or not. It's a basic human right.

But, when in Nepal, you should NEVER slaughter a cow no matter what religion you follow because it's against the law. Is cow slaughter still considered the same as manslaughter or murder? I am not sure. Someone who has more knowledge should enlighten us.

I eat everythingelse except beef! :)

I eat chicken and fish but I have never eaten beef and never will.

Though it's matter of personal choice, giving due respect to Nepali culture and being a Hindu, I won't eat "beef" at any case. And, I am not big fan of meats either.

US of Amrika ma ayepachi 2 choti jhukiyera khaiyo. I do not eat beef. tara ke garne, tyo chilli ma gai ko masu hudo raicha. Afu ta bodi ko tarkari bhandai majja le khaiyo ni. pachi po thaha bho. i guess you just have to be careful.

To me, beef is not about religion but more about trust/betrayal as I was brought up with the concept that I should not eat beef. Having said that, its not that the idea was not there. At one point when I was a teenager, I tried in vain to buy some beef in Ktm just for the sake or it.

Now, I dont see any point in eating beef just like I dont see any point in eating horse or cat or dog. But i I was stranded in a desert with nothing left to eat but beef, I would definitely eat it.

I strongly disagree with "Khaobaadi".

It's a matter of choice what one wish to eat. I don't eat beef, but i don't have problem with any body else eating it.

BUT it's bull's shit when people give pathetic excuse- like Nepal ko gai gai, ani US ko gai gai hoina.

Change is necessary with time, but i hate people when they think they are different after they come to US. We are all the same "keta- keti" from a land called nepal and it will not change.
