Hey sajhausers and all of you who have love for Nepal,
I am seriously concerned about our country Nepal going on the drain instead of stairing on the path of success. I was O.K with the president and Vice president being elected from the Madhesis region. But when they got elected, they're representing the whole country Nepal so they should speak nepali when taking sworn for the sake of the country. Now it's again the time for protests to be launced all over the country Nepal. Though I have read some of the protests launched on the streets, this won't be enough to kick this rastra dhokabazi dhoti Jha out of the country. So let's do something folks for the sake of country. San, I heartly request you to organize a paypal account in order to fund to be organized on the protests against this A-hole V.P who sworned in Hindi which is not any language in Nepal. So Let's get together and fund for the protests so that people would atleast get on the streets to protest against him and kick him out of the parliament. It's all because of these A-holes Girija, Makune and MJF and now the country's in jeopardy. I am really sorry that I am in U.S and I can't get on the streets but I can help launch protests on the streets all over the country.
Now it's time to wake up fella's and start a fresh protest against V.P Parmenanda Jha to kick him out of the constitution. That might need some fund so I humbly request San and everyone of you to participate in the protest against this V.P. I have seen San and all of you gathered together to support Prashant who was not even Nepali by origin so I want every one of you who read this thread and if you think as a real nepali, then please...................please......................please help fund the protests to be launched on the streets all over the country. If you hesistated to do it, then you're not Nepali. You did for non-Nepali Prashant and you can't fund for the protests that has seriously punched Nepali language and country Nepal.
SAN: Please make a paypal account ASAP and let's start right away to protest against this Indian Jackasss Parmenanda Jha to kick out of parliament.
As a matter of fact, I am neither Bahun nor Newar but a minority so stop talking bullshit like bahun le desh bigaryo, newar le business bayek kehi gardaina. Grow up instead of blaming each other and help fund this protests.
Peace
Sirus

Guys, Let's not digress, Sirus_me raised valid issue. I wish someone takes an interview of VP, start off in Nepali and then continue in Newari or any other ethnic language that Jha will have no clue of. Once he get's puzzled not understanding single word, then explain why we have national language. Coming back to Sirus_me's point, it's more than protest. I think we need to set up fund to lobby or enforce (from the court of law) against use regional language and outfit during National event (for Government people). Either you change the National outfit (or introduce legally some flexibility on that), no one from government should be wearing casual outfits in a formal event (this applies to those ex-ministers from Maoist too). Paypal is good means, when we can out vote Indians to ensure Prashant's win, getting rid of this confused VP won't be a big deal. But besides fueling protesters in the street, lets think of something. How about advertisement campaign paid by the people to create ad running against him (in National TV and Radio's) and demanding his apology and resignation? Or how about funding some enthusiastic constitutional lawyer to file case against him? I am ready to contribute, and so will many friends here in Sajha. But, someone in Nepal should come up with a rational and more civilized plan (not burning tires). This won't just be a movement against Jha, but warning against all "Ek Uttar Pradesh" mentality leaders. And this doesn't end with Ek Uttar Pradesh" leaders, but other mainstream leaders too will see preview of what we are capable of. Enough is enough.

Hey all sajha users and rastrya bhakti sathi ho
I am really pleased and profound that our sajha users are concerned with an ongoing political deadlock in our country and are with me. This Asshole VP Parmendra Jha has not only slammed Nepal and Nepali people taking sworn in Hindi but also signaled India that Nepal would be within their reach within 2-5 years. Like I always said, I don't have any issue madhesis being President, Vice President but the way he sworn in Hindi doesn't get into my stomach. I've felt really bad for myself being not able to do anything being overseas and also for my country that has always been a independent country. Though our country is a tiny state compared to other countries but we’ve never been under any control like Giant U.S and A-hole India were. But it looks like now the time is now almost over unless we do something now.
Grand Plan: I surely know lot of people would come on streets for free for the sake of country but this protests should be launched right next to Rastrapati bhawan with thousands of people protesting against randi ko bhawan Jha to kick him out of the parliament. Since this is a major protest, it would need motivation. Funding is also one of the motivations for starting up protests. So I am thinking if we give Rs 20 for every protestants, and assuming 700 people would cost 14000 which is equal to $200 assuming $1=RS 67. So I am pretty sure if 700 people start strong protest, other people would join with them for free. After more than 1000 people starts protesting against VP Jha in front of Rastrabhati Bhawan, I guarantee that VP Jha would resign from his post. Then we would be successful on removing this A-holes and India from invasion of our country. Think about that moment and the result when he gets kicked out and credits goes to all sajha users living overseas and their contribution towards it.
Feedback to all repliers
San: I don't really know why you are not interested in helping this project. I know you can set up a pay pal account and help fund this protests like you did for Prashant who was not a Nepali by origin. Again, I am humbly requesting you san, an administrator to at least reply this thread and say what you have in our mind.
Mta177,deshbhaktanepali,jonny,bisal123,sarkozy,duke1,Happyface,mandalemurdabad,batas,sathi001,haridai,mandalemurdabad,maddogg, sunset_blvd, bhanubhakta, sathi001: I am really happy that all of you and me are having same problem of disgrace when that bastard took oath in hindi. Like I just mentioned, you can go through my grand plan and give me feedback and we can run this protests on valley right away if San accepts our request. If not, I will email Umesh from Mysansar.com and I am pretty sure that he would help us on this as he is always active on raising issues like this like he did for one Indian channel when they broadcasted Nepal as a part of India. So com’on guys, It’s not time just to talk but the time for action and to revolt and kick this mother f#cker VP Jha out from the constitution. Let’s rewind back to 5,6 yrs ago. When Hrithink Roshan said little bad thing about Nepal which he claimed he did not, Huge protests was seen on the skirts of ktm and now this so called V.P is criticizing Nepal and Nepali language, there ain’t any protests on ktm besides some. That’s a pity for our country Nepal. Jaga nepali ho. When bus kills a man/woman by accident, the whole town goes on protest and results on Nepal bandh but when the whole country is on jeopardy, there’s no one to protest against specially on ktm. If you don’t protest now, when you will then? Again, I am humbly requesting San to accept our proposal and set up paypal ASAP and run this protests right away. We should strike the iron when it’s hot.
Sabaiko satru: What the hell are you talking about? How the heck are we helpless this time? Was your lazy ass hopeful when u were crying for Prashant a non-nepali citizen to be winner of Indian Idol? Jackass like ya would never succeed in your life as you only talk instead of doing sth. Talai sale tv herne ani hya yestai ho banne basne. Talai nepali ama le sarapacha. How the f$ck am I gonna be happy when my country’s in Jeopardy? If you can’t help, then shut the f$ck off instead of discouraging people, you rastradhokabazi prick. You are just like that V.P Jha. Aba V.P paye hale, aba ma je garchu garchu kasle ke bancha. You f$cking dickhead.
Poonhill: Well first, people from Nepal gotta start protesting against this A-hole Jha. Jez, why the f$ck we all rely on other foreign countries like China, U.S? Give me a break. They can’t do anything unless people from Nepal are serious and strictly protest against this dhoti V.P.
Brain malfunction: What the heck? Do you think that bastard Jha would look at facebook and say that “O.K these people are protesting against me, now I am gonna step downâ€. You weirdo. He doesn’t even know what facebook is. Stop talking about facebook in this serious issue. It doesn’t get you anywhere.
sunset_blvd: What the f$ck are you talking about? Did you forget that democracy was brought again by the protests against Gyane Chor? Do you have any idea how much protests accounts for the restoration of democracy and freedom in our country?
Again all fellow sajha users and desh bhakta sathi ho, if we don’t get a paypal account set up by Sunday from San, I would request Umesh from mysansar.com to help in our protest plan to overthrow this jackass Parmendra Jha from the constitution.
MY COUNTRY, MY PRIDE. GOD BLESS NEPAL AND NEPALI PEOPLE.
JAYA NEPAL

I have a great respect for all you guys interest in Nepal and your protest against Jha’s use of Hindi.
But I would suggest you all to remain cool and see the broader political picture. There are lots of anti.national activities going on in Nepal and Jha’s use of hindi is just a minor piece in the big building block. It seems normal and natural for patriotic nepali to protest the against this but is it really worth it?
Jha is not appointed by any single person but was elected by a majority of CA. And he got elected despite the fact that he was from a communal partyand his shady background. So dont act like we were totally taken aback by him taking oath in hindi. As far as I am concerned , I was hurt but it was not a surprise for me.
We have to look in a broader perspective. If Jhas use of hindi , is damaging for our nationalism then our nationalism is not strong enough. Jha is just an insignificant actor in Nepali politics , he is just a bait. So dont fall for it. Beside that there are lots of things going around , and we have to be aware.
As I have already pointed out in another thread, Next few years will be very crucial in the history of our country as we are going to have a new constitution and this is the time where we all should work to influence for what kind of country we want. Pro-madhesi force is strong and will do anything to achieve what they want, some might be benificial for country but most of the demands are separatist. They , being strong , are using threat of civil war, to achieve what they want. And I dont have a single doubt that they are going to influence the Constitution making heavily. Do we want our constitution to be written with a gun pointed at our head? We are already writing the constitution with indian ink but do we also want indian hand to write it?
So my point is dont forget about Jha and his use of hindi to ridicule half of the population, but protesting against him is futile. What we need is to work towards gradual and effective de-madhesikaran of Nepal.
I have started another thread about need of pro-pahadiyas political force. But it seems like people dont want to discuss or contribute in it. Lets start discussion on how we can minimise this ongoing madhesikaran og Nepal rather than concentrating on this protest. If we dont do anything now , there will be millions of Jha's not only taking oath, but opressing us in Hindi.

Dear Sirus_me, Thank you so much for entrusting me in a grave nationalistic issue such as this. I agree that this is an inappropriate precedence for a new Nepal to have any politically appointed figure take oath in any language other than the National Language of Nepali. However, my personal conviction has to stand down in front of the sajha conviction that I have to adhere to at times like these. By sajha conviction I mean looking at the bigger picture. As we all know, people who live in southern Nepal are termed Madhesis, who speak many different ethnic languages but commonly they speak Hindi. They may appear different and their culture and outlook may be very similar to that of Indian people, but we have to accept the fact that they are Nepali. Their inclination towards India and Indian subculture is mainly due to the weakness of the Nepali government which was not able to direct any policies towards saving and preserving the Nepali culture or for that matter even Nepali language in that region. For us to blame the Madhesi's for not speaking Nepali or for following Indian stream culture is very wrong. It's not their fault that they grew up in such a community where the Indian influence was very high. I would not be surprised if a lot of people from Madhesh are not very adept at Nepali if any. In my opinion, we need to get rid of any bias against the Madhesi Nepalis just because our Government has failed on them since time immemorial - just like it has failed in almost all other faucets of Nepali lives and economy. Right now is a start of a supposedly new Nepal, and we cannot compile all the failures of the past governments and pile it upon the incumbent government. In order for a government to represent Nepalis from every nook and cranny of Nepal, we have to agree that there has to be people in the government who does not speak any Nepali - whether they speak Hindi or Tibetan. Personally, I believe having a translator would not have been a bad idea. We have to be able to look at Madhesis and Indian as two separate entities. Madhesis who live in Nepal have to be considered and treated as Nepalis with the same right as anyone living in the pahadi region or the northern snowy region. Having said all this in an optimistic note about the new government of new Nepal, I remind myself that this new government is what Nepalis have chosen. The root of all this turmoil about Madhesis is the Indian Government Policies towards Nepal and Nepalis. I don't see anything good about protesting against another Nepali who doesn't speak Nepali because of his growing up in that region. What we need to come together, tie in our energy together is to protest against the Indian Government policies towards Nepal. We have all heard of indian lawmen coming over to Nepal to beat up Nepalis. We need to protest against that. We have heard of India encroaching our lands, we need to protest against that. We have to protest against our leaders who have to go to India for meetings every other week for consultations. We have to protect our country against leaders who become puppets of the Indian government. Sirus_me and all others, if you are interested in protesting against Indian interference in Nepali politics and Indian encroachment of land, then I will be more than happy to join you by all means.

Even a tourist when visits nepal, he tries to speak nepali, he takes interest in our culture, clothes, and language. Pramanadha Jha being raised in Terai does not mean he cant speak Nepali. And while taking the oath he just had to follow. I dont think it was that hard. Whole world is gonna see the oath ceremony. If tommorow somebody asks is hindi an official language of Nepal then it will be shameful.
And what is with that dhoti instead of Daura Suruwal? Beacause he is raised in Terai thats why he does not want to wear it. He feels uncomfortable to untie the tuna while peeing. Is it beacause daura suruwal is hard to wear.
What might be the reason , But being head of state is NO JOKE. The man should be responsible of all his acts. And the act he did was silly. How can he be serious about being head of state if he can not be serious on those delicate matters. And we Nepalis if we become numb in this matter also thenthe whole world gonna ask where is the patriotism of brave gorkhalis?
It does not matter if he is teraibasi, himali, pahadi. If a person cant speak Nepali and wear Daura suruwal, I dont think he deserves any post in the parliament. I wonder wheather he spoke in hindi while being judge in supreme court.
After all those years working as judge ...............dont u think he had to speak Nepali and wear Daura Suruwal...............Even a Nepali from terai who cant speak Nepali properly commute us with Nepali. If we speak in Hindi then only he will speak Hindi. Hindi is common within people who dont speak nepali properly. But beacause it is common language , that dont give any person right to vow in Hindi.
I dont know what make him wear and speak like Indian, but we seriously cant accept as VP of our motherland.
I am in to support protest against Indian government or VP or chor netas. I think they r just connected.

San, our previous leaders have definately made mistakes that doesn't mean we can let this Jha take oath in Hindi. Nepal is a country full of diversity. Almost every ethnic group has its ethnic language that doesn't mean s/he can take oath in her/his ethnic language to govern the country. Being President or VP of one ethnic group is a whole lot different than President and VP of the country. This stupid VP is not just representating Madeshi now. He is representating you, me and all nepalese. If we let it go, we will see many more Indian's Interferance in coming days. Are we cowards now? If he wants to be just Madeshi's Representative then he must step down from VP post of Nepal and just be Madeshi's VP or whatever he wants. He has only two options now.
1. Either he must apologize and retake Oath in Nepali.
2. Or Must step down
How can majority of Nepali say he is our VP when he doesn't even speak Nepali? How is he going to represent us when he doesn't even want to talk and wear Nepali dress. How will we know he is for us, who doesn't value our language and coustume? Nepali is not just one ethnic language it is our National language that is what bind us together. I don't care what language they speak at home or in their group meeting but they cannot distort our language and constituation. Since he is not elected by people, it is even easier for us to kick him out because he is hand picked by some so called leaders.
Rai, I don't want to see division among nepalese. If we let this go and think your org will tackle this issue later, then it will be too late. We must act now and put pressure on VP. Like I said earlier, he has only 2 options. The choice is his to make.

अरे सान भैया, आपका विचार उत्तम है, कुछ कुछ गलत भि है लेकिन हम उसकि बात बाद मै करेँगे, सब से बढीया बात तो यह है कि आप ने बोला - if you are interested in protesting against Indian interference in Nepali politics and Indian encroachment of land, then I will be more than happy to join you by all means.
