WHERE ARE THE VOICES RAISED AGAINST MAOIST BARBARIAN? THEY ARE GREATER EVILTHAN KING. IF KING IS OVERTHROWN, THE MAOIST BUTCHERS WILL TAKE OVER AND NEPALI WILL HAVE TO ROT AND BURN IN ETERNAL HELL. THINK AND DECIDE: WHO IS THE GREATER ENEMY OF PEOPLE: KING OR THE RAPACIOUS BAND OF MAOIST. THE CHOICE IS CLEAR:

YES IT'S POSSIBLE .ACTUALLY MAOIST ARE TRYING TO SIT ON THE HEAD OF POLITICIANS AND TRYING TO SHOT THE HEAD OF KING. THOUGH MANY TIMES PRACHANDA HAD SAID THAT HE WILL AGREE WITH THE RESULT OF CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE EVEN THAT IS OPPOSITE TO HIS VIEW.BUT I THINK THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT IT ANYWAY IF THE RESULTS COME IN FAVOUR OF KING. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "GANATANTRA" AND "LOKATANTRA"?AFTER GETING CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY WILL OUR COUNTRY BE NAMED AS REPUBLIC COUNTRY NEPAL OR WHAT? I HAVE BEEN IN THE BORDER OF NORTH KOREA WHICH IS ONE OF REPUBLIC COUNTRY .THE COUNTRY IS REALLY POOR, THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE ENOUGH FOOD FOR EATING AND ENOUGH CLOTHS FOR WEARING.AS I AM LIVING HERE IN SOUTH KOREA ,IT IS DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY EVERYTHING IS DEVELOPED.SO REPUBLIC COUNTRY WILL KEEP OUR COUNTRY MORE BACKWARD INSTEAD OF FORWARD.REPUBLICIAN IS FAILED IN 21ST CENTURY.I AM AFRAID OUR BEAUTIFUL NEPAL WILL BE LOST IN INDIAN TERRITORY OR CHINESE TERRITORY.

Isn't it true that this whole "revolution" is primarily being organized by communists? besides the 7 parties I bet the Maoists are involved as well. Now this is a cause for concern coz i don't really believe commies want democracy. Tons of commie sympathizers in Nepal.

If we don't support the Maoist's violence, and brutality, we are Royalist chamchas?? Budhi Amai?? Use some logic before you call names man !! People like you are the reason Nepal is going backwards...not forwards....you don't want democracy....u want Communist Dictatorship in Nepal........ Also, not supporting the Maoists does not automatically make one support the King....If wanting some PEACE in the country is being a Royalist, call me anything u want.....Who gives a rat's ass to what u say?

You are talking a long path. Too costly. Why that extra step "Commie In"? We can bypass that.

Didnt UML, often regarded as commies pre 1990 era, come into multiparty democracy? Back then I remember Som Nath Pyasi, UML candidate in one of the consituency in Kaski, gathered some village folks brought them to Pokhara and showed the mansions of Lahureys, told them they could choose anyone they liked cause if he wins election, communism will prevail hence everyone will be equal. After elections, people found out it was nothing but a hoax. Even if Maoists came into power, they will not be able to turn Nepal into communist state, never, and if they dared so, that will be the beginning of their end. I dont see any reason why should we be afraid of Maoists. They might not win the majority of seats in parliament, though they will be a major political force. So what will they be, another political party in Nepal. Did Maoists emerge out of nothing, it was apathy by the state to the rural folks. Had those issues been addressed, we would not have seen them. Were the people of Rolpa born-maoists?? Anybody remembers Romeo and Sera-to-Kilo Operation carried out by then government under GPK? Does anyone remember Girija trying to mobilize army to counter the insurgency? Army refused, King Birendra was regning. Why did not he let the Prime Minister mobilize army??? Some say he said, Maoists were also Nepalis so he declined. There were two negotiation between MB and the state. First Sher Bahadur, and MB walked out without citing any reasons. Second when King G was in power and Lokendra was PM. Lokendra said he would confine army to 5 km radius. Next day he is forced to resign. Was Lokendra controlling the army or army controlling Lokendra?? The came Surya Bahadur and that incident in Doromba. As soon as Surya bahadur came to power, Maoists closed their contact office in kathmandu and went into hiding. They knew he could not be trusted. MB had send Ram bahadur Thapa, aka badal and Baburam in the negotation team. They are not lightweights of Maoists. Sher Bahadur cajoled by Palace to dissolve the parliament while still the nation was still in state of emergency. As soon as he did that, he got a kick in his ass---your role is finished-----who was directing the play behind the curtains. King uses article 127, Nepali constitution says any such emergency actions by King has to be verified by parliament. King G sees it the right time. Parliament my foot----strike the iron when it is hot. People had protested back in 1991 that this article 127 could be misused by King, but back then nobody thought it would be this soon. Sher bahadur could not hold election in time, that too election to parliament and what did King G do, hold local election which was mere comedy. 50 thousand billion of National treasury has been spent since King G took over. Where is the legitimate audit of it? He has raised his allowances by ordinance. Whose money is it?? Poor Nepalis paying Tax. He has his own business, he actually could have cut down on palace expenditure. So you still think King G should remain at helm of power. Maoists want these 2 things 1. Army should be within government control 2. Constitution should be re-written with absolutely no power to King. If those two issues are met, they will happily come to negotiations and mainstream politics. Remember they too want safe landing, they cant go on chasing the blind alley. Whats wrong in fulfilling those two things and bring the Maoists to mainstream politics???

I am sorry to say, but your message sounds very sympathetic to Maoists. It almost sounds like what they are doing (all the killings, kidnapping and rapes) are because they were forced to and there was no other way for them to be heard. I don't think that was it. They are the ones who tried multi-party system, people rejected them badly and now they are killing people. I just have such a hard time accepting them as a political force. They are just like Slobodan Milosevic in Serbia, who ordered genocide. But he himself believed that he was the great leader of the country.

I dont support their violence and dont support state violence too. They were rejected by People---"Didnt they win 9 seats, the third major player in party politics then" Every revolution has its own way, they chose the wrong way, yes I agree. They should not have started their rebellion, similarly that shah, who robbed the Ghales to take the throne of Gorkha should not have stood. Maoists had starting to lose the public support in recent times because of their killings and violence until Gyaney came to power, once Gyaney came to Power, he has become a bigger villian than the Maoists at present.

KnightCrawler, I agree with your points.. keep it up.. King has agreed to give up executive powers, that shows in a way that he does listen to people. If he was a brutal dictator he would assacinating the SPA leaders and massacreing the oppositon. Let's not hammer the king just because we can.. The real enemy of peace and democray are the Maoists. unless Maoist fully disarm and agree to join democracy, eleminating the king will only make Maoists stronger.

BUt the question is Who are Maoist?? ever thought who they really are??? I mean the one who leads them. Others just follow them becasue they were once hungry and now are given food, this is an example of what people do to survive. Kill others. awesome.. But who are Maoist, where did they come from, how did they start, where did they got that inspiration from, this is not one mind game, because one or two person cannot organize such an huge event. It takes a lot to even start these things. Its not Indians or other countries that is promiting them from inside. "bideshi taqat" hahah are u nuts to believe them?? Only Nepalese can destroy other Nepali, so I believe inside all these sadayantra to get power there is a mastermind behind all these, a great higly intellegent person, or else things would have been different. It might be that maoists now have become pain in the neck to their founders, i mean the original founders, not these bhare bhure leaders..let me know if u guess out who might be the mastermind behind all these..

.unless you present evidence to the contrary avista, i ain't buying your conspiracy theory. i heard of this a long time ago - right around the time of the palace massacre. and although it made perfect sense (it still does, that's why its a consipiracy theory!), i couldn't believe it. still can't.

just think about the money and people they needed while it all started, and look at baburam's house and his pocket when they started this, i agree he has great mind but do u agree there has to be some kind of thing, atleats someone or something they made a base on, so that they got immune that time but now they are powerful, they don't care about anyone now ..but its that person's fault who started all these..
