This article by Baburam Bhattarai is very touching.

I think most of the replies against baburam are not the word happiness. Also it is not intended to say that the death of his mother has no value. But the thing is if he feels so much pain for his mother death ( who passed away due to old age), what about the people who missed their relatives or killed by maoist without any reason ( or maoist own reason).

I read most of the people’s view in this thread. The comments are natural and understandable however the way people have expressed their feelings toward Baburam’s article is improper. If you have watched the movie clip, which was taken in Rolpa or Rukum, where most of the leaders had cried. At this point you guys can say those tears were forged. If you have ever visited that rural area where people have suffered terribly from severe exploitation from feudal from unknown period of time, you will understand why maoist have struggled and they are at this point. If you feel their grief first hand you will understand the importance of killing feudal or equivalents. It does not mean that I am in favor of killing. I agree them if they remove killing of people from their statue.
Of course, the life of every one is equally important. We can not say that their count the values of life of other people. I think they better count the life of people the corrupted government or these people who are barking in sajha against Bhattarai and his ideology. Have you ever felt the grief of poor people?? Have you ever tried to collect first hand data about the maoist movement? I have read many fake stories about their killing. I have directly seen the incident and the stories. The facts were not as written in the papers. I am still against those killings. Those viruses of the societies are to be killed for sure but not the way how maoists are following. There could be other alternatives like Bhata program I had heard in eastern part of Nepal.
I just wanted to warn the people that no one is supposed to negate one's ideology without knowing the reality. And also should have a correct way on how to express condolences to other people. By the Baburam does not need your sympathy as he has written in his article that he lives for all mothers.

Castro's words in Nepali translation or is it a retrospection from an staunch communist ideologist, no idea in either.
Soft corner of ruthless fighter, remembered the glimpse of the famed Manakamana picture.
Tribute to the great soul and may it rest in peace, amidst all this khucchya and disregard for dead.
Let not any next mother leave in such state of pain, and work at that at the ernest that will be the best tribute to your mother, Mukkti dai.

Jeevan30,

>> I just wanted to warn the people

Who the heck are you to warn others? I know it is the maobadi way with dealing with disagreements.

>> no one is supposed to negate one's ideology without knowing the reality.
Ideology and reality are two different things, yes for the maobadis and its sympathizers.

>> Baburam does not need your sympathy..
Who the heck are you to speak for that murderer??

>>he has written in his article that he lives for all mothers
Say that to the people who have lost the loved ones and their sons and daughters.

If the present cannot bring justice to people like Baburam, history will.

No it is not disregard to the departed soul but it is the sympathy and respect to the people who have lost the loved ones and for the ones that are going to die in this violent campaign.

so this obituary is suppose to expose the soft side of these barbaric criminals?? or did this baburam retard PHD finally realized the pain of losing someone so near and dear to you?? i highly doubt these terrorists have any remorse for human life, be it of an infant or their own 85 yrs old mother. so this obituary is nothing but a LAME PR move by these devils and as someone pointed out above....for all we care they can go burn in hell. and there won't be any obituaries after their death....STRAIGHT UP! DAMN RIGHT!

I am neither maobadi nor strong supporter of maobadi. I am always against their killings despite the fact that they do not kill innocent people. Killing army or police in war is the different case. I do belive that maoists are revolutionarists and I understand the consiquences of revolution.
Time will show who will be hung infront of the people by the people. Debating in sajha is worthless.
I want to ask you guys who is barbaric criminal? Gayenendra or Prachanda or Baburam?

i agree with jeevan30.
what maoist is all-about can only be understood when we travel to remote places of nepal. majority of nepalese there lives without basic needs like education, safe drinking water and so on. and believe me they have been neglected from time immortal, be that be during rana-rule, panchayat saasan or even 12-yrs of multiparty democracy.
people who were born there and got basic education there are not capable of competing with folks who shout in this sajha forum, including me.
They represent Nepal. If we see statistics of economy then it is derived from the data taken from those people. dalits and madhesi were treated as second class humans or even non-nepalis, and still is, and in the same country there are so-called city-folks who spend more than thousand rupees in just lunch, 5-6 thousand for pair of trouser and skirts ( check the recent NEPAL mag from ekantipur). where that money comes from? ok their parents were not corrupt governmental officer. But if they were businessmen then they must have had high profit margin which is also a form of corruption against consumers.
you people in sajha do not represent nepal. if you would then looking at you guys, nobody from asian development bank or so would dare to call nepal a poorest country in south asia.
i respect baburam for his high determination, and when i meet him i'll shake his hand. I am damn sure that he dont want to me do "dhanustankar" for him just like gyansingh does inherting the characters from great forefather who chopped off soldiers' head for saluting him without wearing boots.
peace out.

Maoists are terrorsits. Period. Thats it.

There is no justificcation for innocent life lost. Who the hell is maoists to decide whether someone should live or die without any free trial?

Have any of u ever heard of maos killing corrupt polticans and royals? WTF?

Targeting Some low level army men and cops and Some low rank poltical workers, they think they will bring revolution. Extortion, Bombing of public places, destruction of public properties. How can anybody justify that? Have u all forgot bombings of public place in Pokhara? Ask any businessmen in Nepal. Everybody is paying extortion.

Maoists are pigs.

>> you people in sajha do not represent nepal.
I presume you are from Mars and the only" THE" representative for all of the people of Nepal.

>> i respect baburam for his high determination
-Ofcourse you do and agree for what ever he says or does without question.

>> I am damn sure that he dont want to me do "dhanustankar"
-I am sure of it also but do not dare to disagree with him, if you do that will be the last day of your life.

>>there are so-called city-folks who spend more than thousand rupees in just lunch, 5-6 thousand for pair of trouser and skirts
-So you are saying that people who can "buy" such stuff should be eliminated(??) like the maobadi style??

>>if you would then looking at you guys, nobody from asian development bank or so would dare to call nepal a poorest country in south asia.
-oh really?? and you would predict Nepal otherwise? And your prediction is??

>>fact that they do not kill innocent people

You are so wrong.!! You need to understand the communist style of judgment in which every accusation ends up in conviction and conviction ends in death.

If you have not visited Nepal and do not know the details of maobadi justice, you should watch "killing fields". This movie shows maobadi style of justice.

May Late Bhattarai's departed soul rest in peace in heaven.
Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is my fellow gorkha native. I am with him for whatever he has done. Because I know maoist are revolutionaries not terrorists. Those people who are against him and his views, u mofokers are the real terrorists of nepal.

>> Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is my fellow gorkha native.
Congratulations! You can use your influence for everything, almost anything and I am sure you have used it many times.

>>u mofokers are the real terrorists of nepal
And..that's your logic and that's all you have to say. This is maobadi style:" If you do not agree with me you are THE TERRORIST but its ok if we kill, extort, kidnap, threaten or what ever we do and if you do not agree you will be executed"
