pade queeen, thinking like yours are the things that lags us behind. We just know to talk but no action. wtf are you suggesting, we should wear bangles in our wrist and tolerate all this? Stop giving me crap that this is a country where buddha was born blah blah, dont forget this is also the country where gorkhali's shed blood. It prooves our cowardly if we do nothing but tolerate this.

Pade_Queen_no.1: Well sorry to say but your nick tells us lot about you. We lack agressivenes and proactiveness.. I'm telling about myself too.. from the birth we are taught about non violence..respect and Budha and great himal..Its all bullshit..12 peoples are killed and next day 4 people from India are released..another group releases hostages simply because they are muslim "brothers". If you have so much sympathy for muslims, go and fight for Taliban..

Hey Hey Guys , we need to calm down and think here. We already are backwards coz for using agressiveness in wrong way. Yes, We need agreesiveness but for good. What will happen next now? we will have more hostages in iraq after they hear about this things. Secondly, the entire civilised world and ppl are laughing at our action. What they did was totally wrong? I will like to highlight some point here what went wrong? 1. Our goverment was unsucessful negotiating with the terroist 2. Our so called nepali janta was busy for riots coz of stupid girija 3. Our leader didnot know what was happening there 4. they never made a effort to fly to iraq to discuss sitution 5. They didnot bring the world attention in this issue as we are peanuts for them 6. All the politicans including king doesnot seem to be griving in this matter Guys, there are some good muslims as well. U cant keep going on being steretype. I am sure we have educated and civilised ppl here. I know what taruma through we are passing now. We are emotional but we got to control. We want relegious harmony in our nation. We dont want to create another mumbai and gujrat. Guys think of a long term. Those 12 neplese victim are the martys of our country. I am sure of resting there sol in peace

The terrorists had no right to slay the 12 Nepalese on the ground of different religion and are the disease for humanity. All in the name of Holy War. What Holy War? War is never holy. Peace and Love is holy. When other religions teach us about respect to others' believes and peace; their prime book says "there is no god but allah" which implies they disregard others' gods and believes no matter what. We can see mosques being established in front of old mandirs in various places in Nepal and still we remain in peace as we don't believe in hatred in the name of religion, whereas in places like afganistan and pakistan, they have demolished all mandirs and buddha statues------ Just an observation. But what we need in Nepal is peace, and we should not ruin it further and collectively work for better, peaceful Nepal. Nepalese are hurt and thats why they are showing their angers and frustrations for the fellow 12 martyrs. May their souls rest in peace and this sin by the terrorists will be punished heavily. Where has the peace gone.......no one knows.....................By the way is Girija P. Koirala still nagging about him not getting the red carpet treatment? What an issue!........selfish.

It is true that Our government had some inefficiencies.. but on WHAT BASIS did they capture our brothes in the first place?? And we SHOULD think of the other Nepalis are still there.. but do we stay hand in hand and do nothing. Was their life worth nothing at all?? The real thing that should be done is erase the muslims from this world.. If there are good muslims then why do they believe in a religon that kills and slaughters people. If killing is the basis of a culture.. then that culture should be abolished.

My condolence to the family who have lost thier soul in Iraq Anger makes our brain stop to work. So first lets not our anger rule our brain so much that we can`t distinguish between right and wrong. Lets look at the things step wisely.... Why those so called terrorist executed Nepalese.... well to be honest our nepali brothers were on wrong place at the wrong time. They were in the war torn country... and there is no law in the war.. They were in the country where no matters korean or italian.. or any citizen from other country is being slaughtered... they were in the place where not one or two... but thousands in number is being killed either by americans or by muslims .... Why they killed nepalese without even giving demands??? Well despite the govt. diplomatic attempt too it failed...and we are still believing that our govt. has done not enough... our government is still wondering why they didn`t made any demands.. what a foolishness... What can country like Nepal give it to them... when people from developing countries are being killed by these terrorist...despite their thousand attempt... Nepal was nothing for those groups... However nepalese govenment letting Iraqi spiritual leaders to let call for release of Nepalese were indeed appreciable ... now when even they don`t hear their spiritual leaders... there is nothing to say. Who took them there? Despite of potential danger.... despite being illegal... when manpower is porting them to Iraq then aren`t they responsible. I can still imagine the sweet talk these manpower agencies must have talked with those victims before sending them to Iraq. They were the one who lured them with new hope, some big dreams. and yeah I am sure that they hadn`t mention the potential dangers... Why our nepalese brothers get lured so easily? Just because we are the poorest people in the world.. Just because they didn`t have money to treat their old mother and brother... just because they have loan so much that it will take their entire life to pay back. Just because the life has no hope... just because life in thier place has been made miserable by maoist and nepalese army. And they don`t know when maoist will kidnap them or kill them neither they are secure from army. Why our village is in such condition? Well hard to answer...but yeah as you all know... Failure of our government to do any thing to uplift these people.. Our political leaders are spending more time in plus minus of parliment votes than real problems that we are facing. Just because our country is so much politically polluted in bureaucatic level that no programmes are launched if that doesn`t gives personal benefits. Why not take revenge to muslims in Nepal? I remember the poem from Bhupi sherchan... Ayo gorkhali bhandai ... Goru Khali bandai... yeah we are never ashamed to say that I haven`t worn the bangles.. and can soon prompt into the violence.. But my friends, even though hat ma churi nalagaye pani .. dimag ma chahin bhuso bhariyeko pakkai ho. If one group killed nepali brothers.. it doesn`t justifies to kill other innocents.. We are here protesting just because they have killed innocents.... now how can you admit the nepalese trying to harash other innocents in Nepal. or our moral values changes from case to case??? In other hand it is also sad that no Muslim leaders of Nepal has expressed their grief..... or condolance messages in public......... What is opposition doing? Well opposition is trying to criticise govenment ...what else can they do? They were insensitive for this issue for entire period... and now the things has turned out to be worst... they are trying to take advantages from the case... These people gotta be hanged What is maoist analysis?? They can`t analyse this... they have no brains to analyse the situation... They can`t even post condolence letter... if they do ... we have just one question to ask.. who are responsible for 10,000 deaths .. who are responsible for current situations. What lacks govenment? Morality... still the foreign minister hadn`t resigned... thats lack of morality.... This clearly shows how much our leaders are attached with the kursi... and yeah.. the prime minister... he didn`t even bother to speak a word before... now everything is over he is claiming that he made attempts... What about King? I give F@@k about king What will happend next? People will talk for few more days... and slowly everyone forgets it... our opposition will find another way or two to take advantage .... slowly they will be back to their colour again Government will provide few incentives to victims family and they will be forgotten. Manpower people will get arrested... but after six months same guy will be seen doing another business... and probably some ministers will buy new car..... ONE DAY MY FRIENDS WE ALL HAVE TO STAND UP AND WIPE THESE POLITICAL BASTARDS ...BE IT MAOIST...GIRIJA...MADHAV..OR KING... KILL THEM IN SUCH A BARBATIC WAY THAT NO ONE TRIES TO REPLACE THEM FOR GENERATIONS No offence to anyone .. just my thoughts Clickerclicks

Blood For Blood I am in a mood for revenge Blood for blood Nothing less, nothing more So today I am taking hostage of tweleve verses of Quran And keeping them blind-folded Waiting for their slaughter Which verses ? I don't know I haven't read them I don't care Why would I ? Did they read the mind of my fellowmen Before they slit their throats ? I can't wait to slit the throats of my hostages And let the fountain of their steaming blood Splash On the idol of Kali I worship To my content Tll it cools my blood Jai Kali ! I am lifting my khukuri I hear their voices They are uttering something I stop Alright Let me listen to them Perhaps they want to speak their last wishes Let it be I listen to them They wanted to be indentified They wanted to be read out Alright Let me do this favor I read them out There were my surprises Some of them were from my Puran I couldn't do with them So I let them free Some were from my Swasthani Some even sounded like from my Ramayan I had to let them free And finally There was one I hadn't read anywhere It wasn't like me It was different Thank God ! I have at least one bali to my rage So I ready myself I think of nothing but the blood of my fellowmen And the hand they stained I am feeling the thirst for blood again I lift my khukuri It shines And for a fraction of a second I see my own reflection on it's shining surface I saw I was wearing a head-banner That read- Ansar al-Sunna *** *** ***

What is more disturbing than the hostage killings is the subsequent riots and unrest in Nepal resulting in the destruction of life and property of our own citizens. How do we morally justify our actions if we target innocent people in our country just like the terrorists targeted our 12 innocent Nepalis? Why are we punishing ourselves because of the actions of a cowardly group in Iraq? We are destroying our own properties and hurting our own citizens. The terrorists must be laughing at all the commotion they've caused - that is the very intention with which they post shocking pictures and videos for all to see. Everything that has happened in Nepal in the last two days has shocked me more.. maybe its the effect of having been confined inside my house for 2 days because of the curfew. Like I said, we're just punishing ourselves. To cool_keta and all the morons trying to incite violence in Nepal and hiding behind the lame excuse that they can't do anything more because they're "overseas". Have some balls man. The Muslims in Nepal are just as guilty as the Muslims in the country wherever you are (If you don't understand my statement, I mean the Muslims in Nepal have nothing to do with whatever happened). If you can really bite as well as you bark, do you have the balls to lay a hand on a Muslim there?

Sitara, Thank you for your encouraging words. The most important duty to perform at this point next to mourning the most disturbing destruction of lives of our twelve brothers in Iraq is to do everything we possibly can do to never let another innocent life and property be damaged at home or put our brothers and sisters in foreign lands at greater risks. We can do this only with great sense of urgency, duty and sensibility. I thank you and other Sajhaites like Suman Pradhan, Poonte, Shirish etc who have just done that with their postings in various threads when Sajha is flooded with a large number of posting with foolish and dangerous messages. Mine was just a small part of that collective act. Although I am terribly insecure about my English, I thought this is a moment for message, not for art. So I posted this scabrous piece anyway. Since this is our collective voice rather than a personal note from me, I think it is a good idea to feature this piece (of course with some editing, anybody ?) in this sensitive and critical time. ********* Cool Keta, I appreciate your appreciation. ********* Peepal Tree, Yes, the idea in this poem is borrowed from countless inspiring pieces I have read and countless inspiring conversation I had with wise people I have met in life. However, it was not borrowed from a particular poem that I am aware of. Will be happy to know about the poem you are talking about. Could you recall where you read that ?
