Uhhh..finally someone who speaks my mind... good post I_AM_NEPALI....

I agree with I_AM_NEPAL. Most Tibetans, born and raised in Nepal are quick to distinct themselves from Nepalese. "O, I'm Tibetan." I have close Tibetan friends but why are they so hesitant to call themselves Nepalese, although they are born, raised and even educated in Nepal? Of course many go to India for their education. That's not the point. Despite living in the same country as us and surviving off of our resources my questions is: Why is there that quick reply, "Oh, I'm acutally Tibetan not Nepalese!" Although they have never been to Tibet and don't have any living relatives there. At first I thought aren't we one and the same, since we live in the same country after all. I don't know if all the Tibetan's protests potray Nepal as an "inhuman place."

I am nepali-- why r u writting the same exact comment in 2 places?  so if there is something unfair happening u will only voice if its happening to nepali ppl? if ur friend is black and is being procecuted because of his color wouldnt u stand up for him?? for his rights?

ofcourse tibeten born in nepal is not nepali just like anywhere else their citizenship might be of nepal they dont have to change their culture their identity. just like someone who is born to nepalis parents in america their ethnicity is still nepali their citizenship might be of america it wont change their heritage

Indin idol fever,  do you judge whole ethnic group just from few people you met. If  americans ask you to leave US right now, how do you feel? Nepal is not just your country. It is our country. Tibetans have full rights  to stay in our Country Nepal. They have brought businesses in Nepal especially in Kathmandu. Do you know anything besides cursing? Grow up. You are staying in foreign land and cursing Tibetans. Watch yourself first then speak. Otherwise go to Nepal then use your language.
