New Royalist!

I thought I am done with Sajha for few moths. However, when I read his Majesty’s car got stoned in BBC news as a top story of the day, I couldn’t stop myself from dropping few words. What a shame and what a best example of uncivilization to the world!

Instead of discouraging such misbehavior, so called leaders will label it as the people’s sentiment. What a shameful culture! What a shameful politics! And what a shameless poeple!

Maoists have taught us very wild culture. Kill them! Beat them! Hit them! Wipe them out! Eradicate them! These are Enemies! ..... These are the words Nepali society has learnt from these Maoists. I have always recognized their most of the political demands and agendas; however, I have never supported their principle …. Their self-righteousness cruelty and extremism have always been a repulsive force for me.

Today country is divided, who taught this? Maoists! To make their so called peoples war they divided people by caste, culture, region and ethnicity. A tiny little country got divided into numerous pieces by the name of aweakening people. Now we all have witnessed how chaotic the country is being.

There are better way to do right things. If your radio is not working, fix it properly; don’t hit it. Once it had worked by hitting doesn’t mean that hitting is the right way of fixing.

What type of culture we are getting from these cruel people? What type of civilization we are learning? By the name of revolution these people introduced a culture of anger. A good quality is recognized by every culture, every society and everybody. …it is human to recognize good and bad. Tell me any civilized society which recognizes anger over forgiveness? Any society which promotes anger is uncivilized, premitive society.

The poor king, who is left with nothing, is an object of compassion. He has done mistake but people are exaggerating his mistake. Few decades later when unbiased History will be written, I bet Prachanda will not remain hero.

King killed 21 people and lost everything; Maoist killed thousands and got everything. Girija killed thousands and became hero of the country. Krishna Sitaula killed more than 21 and refusing to resign. It is too old logic to say king killed to impose autocracy where as Prachand are Girija killed for Democracy. Prachanda and Girija had had killed each others people. If you are saying Prachanda were right, Girija must be wrong and he must be punished. If you are saying Girija was right, Prachand must be wrong and he must be punished. If you blame on king for their kilsl, you must be jocking.

Don’t blame only to Royal regime for our backwardness. Royal regime is responsible but we are equally responsible too. We have tradition to blame others. Do you know what type of culture we have? What to talk about other things we need foreign aid to dump our waste! We are not good ourselves how silly is it to expect our leaders to be good? Afterall we all share the same culture including leaders and the king.

What was India before 1990? Development of India started after 90’s when India entered to world Market; we have democracy since 1990. Who will believe your logic that the king was against of the development? Despite massive corruption our economical growth rate was increasing. They were Maoists who ruined everything. If they give logic that only few people were getting advantage of economical growth, regrettably it was true. However, this is true for every developing economy. India has same problem, many people are untouched by the economy growth from the latest survey.

If they blame that Army were under the king, what was Army before Maoist started war? A group of 40,000 laborers (except few higher posts, this will happen in any regime) who use to build roads! King was beloved and well trusted; the whole nation had cried in his demise. People didn’t have fear from king and no wise king would have tried to be autonomous. If any king had ever tried in 21st century he would have faced the consequence of King Gyanendra. King Gyanendra was overthrown not by guns of Maoists but by peaceful protest of people.

Maoists are thousands of armed people. To crate trouble in Nepal you don’t need thousands, hundred are enough. The superpower of the world US is not being able to handle Al Quida. Russia, the once superpower lost everything with Taleban. To handle Gorilla is not easy. How could poor government of Nepal handle Maoists Gorillas? Today Maoists have taught a wild culture. Don’t obey the laws of the country! Create discomfort to make others to listen you! Few people can bring country stand still; wow, the new culture, the Maoists culture!

The entire world had put Maoists in the wrong side. They got lucky that the king did such a silly mistake that he took power. Otherwise they would have taken us to Stone Age by killing thousands of more innocent, ignorant Nepali and might have faced the fate of Colombian Gorillas.

Today Nepal doesn’t have significant intellectual people; most of the people run after the hot slogans. Tomorrow, in intellectual Nepal will demand for true history and so called People’s war would be considered as a great disaster for the country….. mark my words!

King was an idiot, I feel very compassionate for him. I can imagine he must be in agony. I am a friend of bad days and a close relative of all suffering people. No matter whether poor or rich I can not see people suffering. When you suffer it hurts, not matter you are poor or rich.

I have always been a critic of this man but for the first time my heart is getting filled with love for him. Before he was miserable only from his idiot son but now he is miserable from all direction. When I feel being him, I feel unbearable misery. ….

May no one suffer like His Majesty! … May his Majesty come out of this miserable phase soon! …. May His Majesty have special share in my merit and May that merit bring him out of the misery! May no being suffer! May all beings be happy!

If you can not generate compassion for a pitiable person, at least don’t hurt him! To hurt a grieving person is immensely inhuman.

I am turning a new royalist at the time when probably there will be no more Royals!

I agree with you too Vishontar. The leaders of Nepal are pathetic, and so are the majority of the people. The political parties did hundreds of mistakes in this 15 years. Every time they got second chance. No politicial is convicted for corrucption even we all know how corrupted they were.

Girija the PM again, Khu Bahadur and Govinda in Parliament, and Nepal government giving million dollars to feed the Maoists who killed 15000 people with barbarism in one decade.
And Nepalese people stoning the King. Makes me laugh. We Nepalese are really sheep. We really are donkeys.
How cleverly have the leaders put all the blame on the King. The king is already paying whole Monarchy for his tiny mistake, but the leaders are being worshipped for their blunders.

First can you prove that you were not royalist before? Perhaps you were royalist all along. I don't give a shit whether Gyanendra gets stoned or not. I condemn stoning anyone, but as far as I am concerned, I think Gyanendra deserved to be stoned to death for his misdeeds of the past.

To add on to what you're saying; it is indeed sad to see our beloved nation down this path. I can't seem to figure out where is all this coming from? Lack of education? But it seems to be like everyone common man knows exactly what is it mean to have democracy, freedom, equality...i don't know about others but i had to educate myself on these topics. Is it lack of ethics? Considering our rich cultural and religious history, i thought ethics was part of it...at least for me and my family it was. May be looking at it from the outside, i can't seem to figure it out. So, if anyone from the inside would like to chime in, it would be much appreciated.

By the way one last thing on the maoists, isn't their style kinda like USA pre civil rights era of Separate but Equal". If segregation based on race / ethnicity didn't work in USA, what are maoists thinking they will do to make it work in Nepal? Another thing I'm still pondering about....seriously what is their political philosophy? is there is a doctrine they go by? Just by saying "New Nepal" doesn't mean you turn a nation into an experimental lab? Let's get a reality check everyone!

You interpretation of VISHONTAR's opinions is wrong. You sound more like a royalist and racist.
As I understood, VISHONTAR was talking about building a civilized society, and how we have failed in our treatment of the King. The king did a stupid mistake, but there are others who have commited more fatal mistakes.

Agree with VISHONTAR. Untill and unless the mentality of our people changes Nepal is going to be the same nomatter who rules it. Well, if, in case, the Maoists rule it, then we all know its going to be a part of India soon after.

These stupid leaders can enjoy with country’s property, can play with somebody’s life and can wreck the nation in the name of so called democracy for 15 years. What did they do other than making life miserable, skyrocketing market, insecurity every where and rampant corruption. Have you ever tried to steal a look out from the window towards the world where all the countries are? Have you all ever realized that brain drain of youth for the secured future? Who is behind these entire morbid situations?
I don’t understand why they keep asking about 21 lives during king’s government? Why don’t they even dare to ask about life of those 13000 INNOCENT people? Why don’t they think the property damaged and loot-pat by them? Why don’t they ask the democratic government about recent 27 people within a few weeks? Just because you don’t support king?
