bro it is nothing but porn addiction. i suspect you watch porn at least three times than crime patrol. It is addiction because it is hampering your work and social life. If you find a way to get out from it, you will love your life. Even if it may be a ghanta-hanne kaam, if you start working 9-10 hours instead of 5-6 you will feel difference- there will be some savings etc. So save yourself by limiting the porn.

Not a psychiatrist, of course, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

What's happening with your life is that you are caught in a self-limiting spiral. It's very easy to get lazy if there isn't any motivation. You get lazy because you lack motivation, you don't look for motivation because you are lazy.

What I'd suggest is break this cycle. The best thing you can do, beginning immediately after the next day you read this, is get up early in the morning. Then run for 15-30 minutes outside. This will get you up early in the morning so that your day gets a headstart and you get to sleep on time. Running outside will help break the cycle of not doing anything and also provide a mindfulness get-away. It's best to have a goal. If you don't have one of those pedometers, just see how long you can run without slowing down/walking and try to up it next day.

After running, go to the grocery and buy stuffs you need to cook yourself a breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don't eat outside; you will save money, be healthy and have something to keep you busy. See if you can increase the work hours.

The way you work is NOT  even enough to pay a  monthly rent. Where do you live? What do you eat? How do you commute? Who pays for your cable and Internet bill? They are expensive. 

Thats not nice if you're burden to your friends and family. Take RESPONSIBILITY  ASAP.

Whatever you  do please put aside some money to buy laundry detergent  to wash your bed cover everyday. Eeeww!!!

Start working out, increase your self esteem, dress and carry yourself well, and impress a  decent woman. Introduce your skill of momo-cooking to that savior. Then, your physiological needs from the Maslow's Hierarchy can be completely crossed-out and your uninspired life will shortly find a sense of direction.

I was also on the same page. To overcome this freaking mental disease is not hard if you try to keep yourself disciplined. It is easier said than done but you need to break the shell and escape the past. Join gym, engage yourself to something, keep yourself busy, go help others, volunteering activities, sports. Limit your conversation with people back home, they are freaking another problem which always keeps you distracted and disturbed.

Chillax man... and keep a bottle of whiskey always but don't drink too much, just little 1-2 pegs whenever you feel down and whenever you can't get sleep. Insomnia kills..beware of it.

I really don't call to Nepal. May be I call my family once in a year. Days ago i talked with my dad after 2-3 years. I want to go to Nepal forever and never come back to USA as looking at all the rich white people I feel like I am undeveloped, ugly, uneducated this and that. I messed up college as I went to college for 7 years and drop out. But when I see al my friends and others settling in US, I feel like not to go. I worry that if I go to Nepal, I would waste all my savings and not start any business. Don't know what to invest in Nepal. I want to be closer to the family. My mom and dad getting too older. They always tell me to return and get married. I worry that I am already old and would not get any descent woman. I worry where to work and where to get money, I mean insecure all the time.

Start lifting weights, gain some muscle. It'll change your life. You'll start getting attention from the ladies, feel better about yourself. Also if you watch porn, try and get off in a reasonable amount of time so you don't spend hours.

Try and talk to people about your problems, sharing your problems with others will help you realize that you need to change.

As most of ppl before me had already said start working out it makes your body and mind fresh. One hour a day is not much and u will have a good sleep too. U are losing motivation so make this one as a start and feel the difference. Then proceed ahead and start taking extra classes and extra hours when u feel like one. Make new friends.. Remember friends can make u feel good always. Change your group of circle of u don't like one. Start dressing up and go on dates to improve your self esteem. It really helps. Keep ur loved ones close by keeping in contact. If u r not really an outdoor person then find something to do may be even playing playstation games online... Will definitely freshen u up. Don't lose hope on urself. You are the only one who can make ur life worth full. Others can only advice.

@krishna u are off topic here but I wouldn't care more. Messi scored better hattricks than cr7?? What's a better hatrick anyways. Goals are goals. Cr7 have broken records after records in just his 5th season in madrid not that messi hadn't either but look at his game to goal ratio it's wayyy better. Urself saying get the ballon d'ore which I believe u know the reason why players get them and is the individual award and why he is so competitive on it. Saying messi is better than ronaldo is just ignorent I think or else u r a 16 year old which I am sure u r not. Stop being delusional and ignorent. And btw this is never ending topic of who being the best and u also name RVP In the end. If u trying to compare him with m10 and cr7 then I can see where u coming from.

Of all the things you wrote, this caught my attention "I watch porn every day"

Doesn't matter if you workout or not, that's not gonna solve the problem. It's more of a will power than it has to do anything with physical activities. If you've a smoking habit, do you think working out, doing physical activities will get you rid of that habit? Nope. Some of the folks here have given you the advice as best as they could but either they haven't experienced any of the problems you are having or was just saying things for the sake of advice.

Even if you've magnified the other problems in your life giving less importance to your porn addiction, in fact, it's your porn addiction that has eaten up your life.

Do you have any of the following symptoms? Don't have to admit here publicly, just read it, self confess and if it is, then you need a commitment connecting with other folks going through same problems and try to get rid of this bad addiction.
Are you able to masturbate comfortably without watching porn? It's vaguely termed as PMO (Porn, Masturbation and Orgasm). Those obliviously affected by PMO can't masturbate and orgasm easily without porn. They lack imagination and their brain is clouded by other ppl having intercourse. This lead to them being just anti social, scared of women out on the world and full of anxiety and depression. Even though various religious belief disregard masturbation all together, healthy practice should be just masturbation and orgasm twice a month or once a week at most.

I don't know how genuine is your posting but there is a way out from this. The good things is you have realized you are in a mess and you want to get out of this mess. That's good. That's the first step. Now you need to move on 2nd, 3rd, 4th... steps gradually. Our mind is always hungry of experiences. If you feed it and if it likes it, it wants it more. This creates a groove in our mind. We call this, in the language of Psychology, habits. It is extremely difficult to get out of the old mental grooves; however, it is possible. Many people have advice you to do exercise, run, weight lift etc. This is very helpful as running decreases depression and exercise helps to tone up you body and make you relax. However, your problem is not body oriented. Your problem is mind oriented. Therefore, you need something that can alter the old grooves that you have created as a result of past and present karmas. The yoga sutras of Patanjali clearly prescribes Yama, Dama, Niyama, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dhyana, Samadhi etc for individualized mind. When your individualized mind unites with the Virat Purusha or Hiranyagarbha of Vedanta you will experience the infinitude of bliss. Here is what you need to do:

1) Bring a strong WILL: that you need to change for good and you must do it. This is very difficult. Keep bringing this thoughts in your mind until it gets a momentum.
2) Wake up around 5 or 6, become fresh and do some light exercise for about 10 minute.
3) Then, sit down either in Sukhasana, Siddhasana, or Padmasana. It seems like you need a lot of vital energy. So, I recommend you start doing "Prana Mudra." When you do this mudra, you will experience jolt of currents following through your spine. Don't panic, just relax.
3) Now, with spine erect, do some simple pranayamas. Open your ventilations and let the fresh air enter your room. Now, start with 2) Bhastrika Pranayama then, b) Kapalbhati Pranayama and then c) Anuloma Viloma Pranayama. (There must be alteast 15 min. gap between asanas and pranayamas and dhayana).
4) Now, after doing all these pranayamas, relax your body for at least 15 min. Now, you can also change your mudra. Bring Gyana mudra or Purna Gyan mudra. Be in Sukhasana, or Siddhasana, or Padmasana. Close your eyes, bring your attention to the rhythm of your breath. Feel the air as it touches the nose when you inhale and feel the touch when you exhale. Do, this dhaya for at least 20 min. every day. (Note: all this must be done in empty stomach.) I recommend you start with all this. After practicing this for a month, you will be a new gentlemen. Your desire for porn will slowly go away. There will be more vital energy in your body as a result of prana mudra and pranayama. Slowly you can also start Mantra meditation which is more advanced than breathing awareness dhyana. But for now, start with this.

Hope you will blossom like a fresh flower and enjoy the total creative potential of Brahman. Om Tat Sat.

I can relate. I am experiencing the same. I found bittertruth's post spot on. I researched about this few months ago when I start to get worried about myself. All of symptom that bittertruth mentions, except morphing, applies to me. I tried to quit porn. I was determined. But I lasted only two days. I really want to quit porn. I know it's killing me.

haha you 're infected by porn addiction with the use of internet. I also know that your relations have failed or in verge of failing because of low sexual energy. It's a disease after the easy access of porn materials of porn in the internet. Sex is energy, the desire to have sex with a partner moves you towards your goal. You get up, look good, go to school, study hoping you'll find a good job one day and practically everything we do in our daily life is related to the sexual energy. You were designed to work for that enjoyment , but with the easy access to the porn you mind did not want to do hard work. why go to gym, look good study and get good job etc etc so you can be sexually/socially attractive to get satisfied with sexual bliss, the porn it few clicks and few clicks on your keyboard away. and in the beginning you fully enjoyed porn, because it was something new and exciting for you, but now your brain doesn't want to do hard work of getting real fun from the world and wants to get the quick enjoyment from porn, and too bad now it's used to of the same thing so many times it doesn't get excited by porn.so you are virtually walking like a zombie without no sexual energy. You can not maintain excitement in anything, not even real women. because getting a real women needs work , same with job.
the only way out is by quitting porn, and least not doing it for a month.when you abstain yourself from porn it is extremely important that you do not even try to see any thing little even little exciting, otherwise your connections in the brain will find the path again to the old porn habit. it's like someone trying to quite alcohol or drugs, a small portion will open the closed gates and lead you to the same old path.
