i got caught working....actually my international advisor saw me working inside the store.....and she told me to meet her....i went to meet her but i didn't get chace to meet...and this is my last semester to grad.3 yrs. You could tell her you were covering for a friend without being paid or sum' like that.

Talk to your owner and have him write some kind of letter saying that ur related to owner and you were just helping him because of some reason. see what happens....

Be preparedfor all the answers-I mean know what you have to tell her before you go see her.Also, mention that you were there only for that day and time and for an hour or two andthat it was just a courtesy you were doing for your friend and you would be paid for that.Try to convince her; don't be nervous. you'll be allright. was in the same situation.  i had taken one semester just part time.  they caught me when i went to apply for the opt training.  but worked out at the end.

Take it east dude. You might be given a warning. Its not a big deal unless they make it big. They cannot send u back home bcase u r in status. Quit that job. Make sme good reason for u had to work that day.

Unless you are caught red handed working over there is nothing to worry. Court doesnot believe on one's  saying what he/she heard or saw. It asks for a proof which they cannot present anyway. Cool dude. In the worst case, they can just warn you nothing more as it's not their duty to look after the job of INS.
