Someone said this in sajha a while ago and I still remember it, although I forgot who said it.

He said:

"यहाँका गाइहरु हिन्दु गाइ होइनन त्यसैले बीफ खाए हुन्छ"

Besides, I am not Hindu by faith. So, I don't mind. But having grown up in Nepali culture I still have not "cooked" beef at home.

Besides burgers ...i haven't eaten any form of beef if i recall correctly....But i dun think there's any constraint 4 any individual not 2 eat beef....my ancestors used 2 eat beef..so will i ...wen i feel like it...n i encourage others as well if they r not bound by their customs n traditions....if one eats...chicken or any form of meat...y not beef as well ???
P.S. 4give me if i have offended any devout Hindus n others....m juz voicing out my thoughts...no intent 2 demean anyone...Cheers

I love steak.... Porterhouse to be particular because it contains both fillet mignon and tenderloin... marinated only with coarse salt and fresh black pepper... medium cooked... served with melting butter on top... some veggies and loaded baked potato... hmmmmmm YUMMY!!

So, yeah, I eat beef.

I admire folks who don't, only those who are health conscious and choose to avoid red meat.

I further admire vegetarians who are so on moral grounds. I wish I could be like them, but I love to eat meat.

I don't eat beef.

And I don't mind others eating beef. My siblings do.

My religion does not restrain me from eating any kind of meat, but being raised in a hindu community I'd still like to continue keep the tradition alive (i repeat not on religious ground).

But i disagree with people who say "Oh. Yaha ko gai, gai hoina, COW HO!!!", thats bullshit. JUST SAY I EAT BEEF.

In English Cow , but in our tradition:Syamarani,Saraswati,Ganga,Asta Laxmi,Vraja,Gauri,Krishna Vani,Gandaki,Kaveri, Yamuna,Savitri and Bhumi...
