चितवनले पारसविरुद्ध पक्राउ वारेन्ट जारी गरे लगत्तै जिल्ला प्रहरी
कार्यालय कास्कीले उनलाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएको हो । पारस शाहलाई एसएसपी केशव
अधिकारीको नेतृत्वमा गएको टोलीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएको हो । उनलाइ
हेलिकप्टरबाट चितवन लगिने भएको छ । पारस आफैले हेलिकप्टरको व्यबस्था गरेपछि
उनलाई लिनका लागि पोखराको फुलवारी रिसोर्टबाट फिष्टेल एयरको हेलिकप्टरले
चितवन लाने भएको हो । यसअघि सशस्त्र प्रहरी बल र नेपाल प्रहरीले स्कटीङ
गरेर पुर्व युवराज परासलाई पक्राउ गरी गृह, नेपाली सेना, नेपाल प्रहरी र
सशस्त्र प्रहरी बलका अधिकारीहरुको सयुक्त बैठकले पोखरास्थित फुलवारी
रिसोर्टमा रहेका पारसलाई उनकै गाडीमा पोखराबाट चितवन लैजाने टुङ्गो गरेको
थियो । चितवनमा लगेर पारससंग वयान लिने र उनको म्याद थपेर राख्ने पनि
बैठकले तय गरेको छ । उनलाई केही समयपिछ चितवन लगिदैँ छ । गण्डकी प्रहरी
प्रमुख एसएसपी केशव अधिकारी र कास्की प्रमुख एसपी पुस्कर कार्कीले गोली
काण्डमा मुछिएका पारस शाहसंग उनी बसेकै रिसोर्टमा प्रारम्भिक बयान लिएको
सुरक्षा स्रोतले जनाएको छ । यसअघि आजै गृह मन्त्रालयले मातहातका
सुरक्षाकर्मीलाई घट्नाभएको जिल्लामा मुद्दा दर्ता गरी अनुसन्धान गर्न आदेश
दिए लगत्तै चितवन जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले मुद्दा दर्ता गरी पुर्वयुवराज
पारस शाहलाई पक्राउ गर्न उनी भेटिने संभावित जिल्ला काठमाडौं र पोखराका
प्रहरीलाई उपस्थित गराउन पत्रचार गरेको हो । सोही आदेश अनुसार पोखरामा
रहेका पारसलाई क्षेत्रीय प्रहरी कार्यालयको निर्देशनमा नियन्त्रणमा लिएको
हो । अहिले पोखराको फुलवारी रिसोर्टमा ठूलो संख्यामा नेपाल र सशस्त्र
प्रहरी परिचालन गरिएको छ । गत शनिबार पूर्व युवराज पारसले उपप्रधानमन्त्री
सुजाता कोइरालाका ज्वाँई रुबेल चौधरीसँग विवाद हुँदा हवाई फायर गरेका थिए ।

If one goes by what is written on the newspapers I do not understand how did this guy insulted Nepal or Nepalese. Paras has been shamelessly  trying to hide behind the curtain of nationalism. Lets not forget it is Paras who treated Nepalese  like dirt when he was a prince. It is pathetic that in the name of nationalism some people are making hero of a coward who used his gun against an unarmed guy.

Kathmandu, Nepal (CNN) -- Nepal's former crown prince was arrested Tuesday on charges of firing a pistol in a public place and threatening others, authorities said.

Paras Shah allegedly fired several rounds at Rubel Chaudhary, a Bangladeshi national and the son-in-law of Nepal's deputy prime minister Sujata Koirala, after an argument Saturday in a wildlife resort in Chitwan, about 100 kilometers (62 miles) south of Kathmandu, according to reports. No one was injured.

"The ex-prince took out a pistol and started to open fire, accusing the Koirala family of conspiring to abolish the monarchy in this country," Chaudhary said Monday, according to media reports.

Police spokesman Bigyan Raj Sharma told CNN the investigation is ongoing.

Koirala's Nepali Congress party, the nation's second-biggest political party, demanded Shah's arrest on Monday. He was arrested in the tourist resort of Pokhara, about 200 kilometers (124 miles) west of Kathmandu, and police were questioning him, according to Ramesh Kharel, superintendent of police.

Shah, 39, traveled to Pokhara from Chitwan on Sunday following the incident.

Nepal abolished the monarchy in 2008, and members of the royal family became commoners. At the time, Koirala's father, Girija Prasad Koirala, was the prime minister.

The hard-partying Shah reportedly has a history of reckless behavior. There have been previous reports of his using firearms in public places in the past. He was also believed to have killed a popular singer, striking him with his car, about a decade ago, when Nepal's monarchy was in place.

However, Tuesday was the first time police have arrested Shah, who splits his time between Kathmandu and Singapore.

CNN knows nothing about Nepal.  Look at the public forums.  This guy is emerging as a National Hero.

This is more of a personal issue than national, Paras should be hanged by his balls; I do not sympathize with him at all for the sake of nationality. If I need to lose my nationality, so be it, but I think Paras has shown he still wants to rule the country criminally. What he should do is follow the path shown by his wife. If he continues to use guns and threat in this age, the monarchy is gone for good.

You are right UNN! I still remember how CNN sensationalized so called janaandolan -II as if genocide had happened. I still remember then CNN reporter Satindra Bindra, how he exaggerated every little thing. These western media do not have the capacity to understand ground reality nor they give true report. Not to mention, these are the same media which publicized " Buddha was born in Nepal". Well, Nepalese were so sensitive on that part Buddha's issue (ironically no one is on that path) , but when it comes to the issue of Nationalism, some idiots are so dumb and  that they are ready to give up their nationality-those must be the puppets of current political parties.

If people have supported king in his stand to protect nepalese nationality and soverginity day like this would not come in nepal. I wonder why people support (Nepali?????) congress even if it the most treacherous party in Nepal.
