The Sajha Web Blog has been operating for sometime now, and I think it is obvious how the quality of topics and writing has deteriorated over the years. There was a time when people actually wrote something that held some merit, and contained some level of sophistication. Now, as you scroll through the threads on the front page, the titles and contents of the threads are so childish. I think the average age of Sajha users these days must be like 16. To top this all off there is way too much foolish indulgence on political gossip and most of them don't have the faintest of ideas as to what they are talking about. There are threads that connote racial hatred, violence and pornography. The form of language and diction being used belongs in the bathroom, not here. The level of immaturity and lack of credible knowledge is accelarating rapidly in Sajha. People think that they are being funny or cool, but they really aren't, and on the contrary such rabble-rousing is extremely offensive. It is sheer stupidity and perhaps a reflection of the cerebral prowess of some of these nincompoops. Grow up and get a day job!

Thanks John, you're absolutely right.I was just shocked and disappointed in the way some people were interacting here. All this foul and hate oriented stuff was just frustrating to read. I found it interesting what San dai, the administrator had to say the other day. He thought that the conversations revolving around Sajha, the negative stuff almost mirrored certain aspects of Nepali society and mannerism. I just hope for stimualting discussion, that is what Sajha used to be a place for.

I think Sajha is in pure and honest form of freedom of speech. And this forum is freedom on its brute real form that brings a real Nepal. Well, although atleat it brings on people who have access to Internet.

This also brought up the issues relating to Nepali society. We are divided. It brought up the reasons we are divided. It has also become a platform for us to settle our differences.

Well admit it how much we give a cry or hue look at the situation of Nepal. Do not ya all think that reflects the views over here.

Here's what happens

Every now and then a well opiniated one comes and pours his thought. Nobody cares as noone knows who he/she is and what he/she is talking about as the post is too long.
The poster gets frustrated to see no replies to his post, but 20 replies to a post like, "Bhok Lagyo."

He/She then initiates another thread saying SAJHA quality is going down.

Believe it or not, I have seen same thread since last few years. Either it is really deteriorating downhill or people just complain for not being heard.
