The same thing I tried to discuss yesterday in my thread 'what is India upto' wud like to share it here since this atleast got some comments

I always think that India with its greater economic achievements will change its vision towards Nepal , but everytime there is something stinking out of their backdoor...I see people fighting for monarchy , parties n maoist in Nepal but lets look at the other part of the story....
1. India decides to supply arms to Nepal (indirectly helping monarchy rule)
2.India proposed for negotiations with maoists whom they themselves said 'TERRORISTS' if Baburam bhattrai is reinstated in his former position in the party.
3. India as always teaching democracy to our parties.

And mind u guys when all these thing happen at the same time it is sure that conflict is going to arise ,unfortunately its in our motherland....we need to think is it our own fight or somebody is making us fight?

I have the same feelings as haku has the only difference is I wont blame maoist since they can go to any corners for their hunger of power...but how cud a so called one of the world's biggest democracy change its color and simply for thier own tagged 'terrorists'...the hidden fact is, a war suffering Nepal is always good for India.

I agree with Sense and MCR 7, even Prem Dai is not wrong either. Where are the DC rally people now? This is something we all worth going to rally in DC. Why are all those American Nepalese netas so quite about? If it was about king or Monocracy they would have wrote 100 threads about it by now. I?m sure Nepalese parties are not going to fund another rally in DC esp. if it is against India they wouldn?t dare to even think about it. And Nepalese American netas wouldn?t participate in things like that because there is not direct personal benefit for them.
I have always insisted that moist / India is a lot bigger threat to Nepal and Nepalese than king?s family. Why can?t we all see that? In fact king is the only wall that is protecting Nepal from being a United States of Moist Land. You may disagree but just when you get a chance, lock yourself in a quite room and just think?.just think?.you would realize that I?m telling you the truth. People! we keep fighting for our little stupid difference on our philosophies. Nepal is being played by everyone and especially by terrorists and outsiders. And the worst part is most of us still bitch about our own government instead of supporting them. How can a government fight for its people when it doesn't even have its people?s support? Most of us think we are so smart and we always have opinions about everyone. We act like we know everything and we often comment on how everyone else is wrong. Guess what people?....It is not time for that. We should join hands and let the world know that all the Nepalese are united. No one can touch us if we stay united. You gotta be faithful to someone who is protecting you. Or else you are not better than a dead body.
DC rally people should request US govt to support Nepalese govt and request for military aid than asking them to oppose. People why can't you all see that this is a bigger threat to the country. Wake up now you all sleepy heads. When are you all gonna see this? It is really sad that we are the way we are.

Actually, I won't blame India. Like Darwin's theory of 'Survival of the Fittest,' countries have always in the past and present tried to make themselves more powerful each day to sustain the challenges posed by other countries. India is simply following it. If it sees, instability in Nepal as a boost to its power it will use every resource it has to make sure that happens.
What matters is how we, Nepalese, concerned about our country and its existence, react to it. And it is quite obvious that our leaders simply are not concerned about out country at all. Maoists in Nepal, which came in existence due to the incompetence shown by the democratic leaders post 1990, intended to bring revolution that they thought might make Nepal a better place, have let themselves and people who believed in them down, firstly by accepting massive violence as their strategy, and now by joining hands with India. In their demands, they seemed to have policies that would change Nepal?s relationship with India for Nepal?s own good, unlike 1960 treaty. Now who takes these Maoists seriously? They are as corrupt, as opportunist, as the democratic leaders we have had in Nepal. So finally, what did all those civilians, military personnel, and Maoists cadres die for, ?NOTHING.? Or may be to make Nepal another Indian state.
