I had a question though, how do i get the job. DO i have to go there first and fill out applications? How long is it gonna be before they accept? I dont wnna go there and be jobless for a long time. Is there a way to confirm job from here by calling?

I don't think there is a way to conform the job witout approaching that hiring manager, Unless someone recommends you to his /her previous jobs. Thats a different story. But you go to be there physicall before they hire you. But don;t worry there are plenty of jobs out there if you get there in first week of May and help them to rebuilt their store,arcade,park, whatever kind of jobs you will work for.

Yeah i made a few calls. one manager said I can apply from here and she will do interview from phone. But i didnt get to talk to her, i left her messege.

I am on H-4 visa now, on a process of applying F-1. Will they look for your F-1? I dont think they will care whhat visa type you have anyways, because working under F-1 is illegal too right?

Also is there a good website to look for jobs in OC ? I googled and found a website. i called em up. Most managers were out of desk

In OC they will not ask what your status is. They wanna see whether you are reliable and can work hard. DONT WATSTE your time searching OC job on website.

Just take suggestions of passinthru, lambu dai, and other OC veteran.

well my dad is on h-1 visa, I am on h-4 as dependent. yes, i am a student, just not a F-1 student. I am on process of applying though.

yeah humjayega if i am just trying my luck if i can confirm job. If that dont work, i will just go to maryland i guess and start applying.

if you didnt find the job in OC then come to DC, i will find one job for you definately it will be on SUBWAY. so dont worry about anything.. i think this will boost your confidence. So be happy and concentrate on your study since your exam is knocking your door.
