Hushpuppy....what about joining me for the adventure!! Since March is the best time to go there, but this march I cannot make it, I am planning for march 2006, for a month long tour in the base camp area. I will be graduated than and may have some money to have some fun.

Crishna, I was up there in 98 and 01. I am not surprised at it being ranked with in top 10 among once in a lifetime trip. The serenity of the area prompts you do some soul searching. The scale of the mountains are beyond anything. You could either start from Jiri or Lukla. Aprazit

Great to know that EBC is one of those ten once in a life time trips. I was there in 2001 autumn and spent night there camping on the Khumbu Glacier. I have experiece of travelling around Europe and US, and that trip to EBC is for sure the most exciting and thrilling moment of my life. Those who want to go over there, I am sure you will feel the same.
