तराईका प्रदर्शनकारीले शुक्रबार महोत्तरीमा सशस्त्र प्रहरीका असई थमनबहादुर विश्वकर्मालाई कुटी–कुटी हत्या गरेका छन् ।

सशस्त्र सीमा सुरक्षाबल जलसागर महोत्तरी दरबन्दी भएका विश्वकर्मालाई आन्दोलनकारीले शुक्रबार दिउँसो लखेटीलखेटी घरेलु हतियारले कुटेर हत्या गरेको  सशस्त्र प्रहरीका एसपी वीरेन्द्रबहादुर पाण्डेले पुष्टि गरेका छन् ।

शुक्रबार बिहानमात्र असई विश्वकर्मा हेटौँडाबाट महोत्तरी पुगेका थिए ।  बर्दिबासमा गाडीबाट झरेका विश्वकर्मा साइकलमा लिफ्ट मागेर गन्तव्यतर्फ गएका थिए ।  जलेश्वर पुग्दा प्रहरी पोसाकमा साइकलमा देखेपछि प्रदर्शनकारी विश्वकर्मामाथि खनिएका थिए । प्रदर्शनकारीबाट जोगिन विश्वकर्मा धेरै बेर दौडिए ।

लामो समय दौडिएपछि उनी ज्यान जोगाउन सानो पोखरी देख्नासाथ विश्वकर्मा पोखरीमा हाम फाले तर प्रदर्शनकारीले उनलाई छोडेनन् ।  पोखरीबाट निकालेर भाला, लाठी, खुकुरीले छेडेर सशक्त घाइते बनाए । बचाउन हार गुहार माग्दा समेत उनको आवाज कसैले सुनेन् । प्रदर्शनकारीको एकोहोरो कुटाइखाइरहेका विश्वकर्माको ज्यान जोगाउन एक प्रहरी बल घटनास्थल पुग्यो ।

प्रहरीले प्रदर्शनकारीबाट छुटाएर उनलाई जलेश्वर अस्पतालमा पुर्यायो । तर उनको उपचार त्यहाँ सम्भव भएन । एम्बुलेन्स झिकाएर जनकपुरतर्फ लादै गर्दा पुन एम्बुलेन्समा आक्रमण भयो ।

जलेश्वर अस्पतालमा १६  टाँका लगाएका घाइते विश्वकर्मालाई प्रदर्शनकारीले एम्बुलेन्सबाट झिकेर पुन आक्रमण सुरु गरे । विश्वकर्मा भाग्ने कोशिस गरे । केही समय भागे तर उनको केही सीप चलेन । प्रदर्शनकारीले कुटीकुटी उनको ज्यान लिए ।  प्रहरीले प्रदर्शनकारीले विश्वकर्मालाई घरेलु हतियारले कुटीकुटी हत्या गरेको बताएको छ ।

एम्बुलेन्स रोकिएको ठाउँदेखि पाँच सय मिटर पर विश्वकर्माको शव भेटिएको प्रहरीले बताएको छ ।

I am so surprised that no one in Nepal or in Nepali community is denouncing this situation. Does it not piss of many of Nepali Janta from Nepal? Madhesi groups are going to NHRC and claiming they are killing the innocent but they are not protesting peacefully. If the Neta of Nepal give into the demands of this terrorist than you can see the future of Nepal going straight to hell. How can anyone justify killing of injured police from the ambulance and the driver and medic personnel a form of protest.

Don't you guys see how many ppl are killed by police in India every yr? In eastern India, and in many other states many ppl participating in political rallies are killed by police.

When country in democracy you have rights to demonstrate but no one has right to be violent during demonstration. When rallies turn violent police act.
As simple as that. If you want to change u need to go through election. Nepal is now a democratic Republic there is no room for violence.
Madhesi party want something different? That is fine, they have right for that. But they have to bring the change through election. In next election they can ask ppl to vote for them so that they can bring the change. If people vote for them they can bring the change otherwise no chance.

In last constitutional assembly, madhesi parties had their say, but ppl didn't buy that, they failed to convinced ppl, whose fault is that?

I deplore the killings but violent political rallies are not the answer in democratic Republic.
